I can't find a sitemap? You don't actually need one as all of your content appears to be linked to from your main page anyway. The main purpose of a sitemap is to make all of your content no more than 3 levels deep. Large sites may have content which is several levels deep. Search engine spiders won't dig much deeper than that unless your site has a lot of back links.

It is right under the newsletter opt-in form and the cover for PIPS - The second table on the left sidebar... It says 'Site Menu'

Pat, that is easy to see and it's a "site menu". I was looking for the "Site Map". It's good to have a site menu so people can look around. This is what a site map should look like. It is auto populated with a site map program, Site Map .

Hi all,

I think what he is referring to is under his welcome message, (under the banner)and to the immediate right of the newsletter sign up. Hope this helps.
Birdy, Your site looks great to me.

Take care,

Terry

Toshky - note this thread and OP are around 3 years old.

Dug up from 2 years ago with last post.

IMHO get as many relevant pages as you can. The more you have the deeper the search engines can crawl to find them all.

Site Maps are search engine candy and definitely easier to navigate the site.

So many people get traumatized by doing the site verification and I have had issues with it myself.

The best thing I ever found was the Wordpress Plugin for XML Site Map. It actually worked the first try. Google Webmaster hiccupped (did not display the installation) - only once and when I went back a few minutes later to webmasters, there it was pretty as pie.

WordPress › Sitemap Index « WordPress Plugins

Login to Wordpress and go to Plug-Ins - search for 'XML sitemap'
Install the Plug-In and follow the directions.

You can use widgets or plugin for your sitemap if this is installed with WordPress.

You may place it fixed floating as well at either sides of your site as tab. Then toggle display when triggered by click.

Let me know if you need a hand.
