hey there pat,

i think spywaredoctor is 1 of the best around.i think everybody should always have an upgraded copy of any virus checker. as the free copies on pick up minor virus like pop ups and the more serious viruses still be active in your computer. when upgrading SPYWARE DOCTOR it lets you put it to 3 computers, so i think it's worth every cent you pay for thye yearly subscription.many years ago when i first used spyware doctor it was great in the fact i never had to have the brought copy,as with the free version it would scam and show you the serious virus (but not remove them untill upgraded) but the good thing was it show you what file the were under, so i could go through my registry and delete them but with time things have changed.

I use spyware doctor because i need to have a good running computer for my Home based business I can not afford to have a slow computer full of viruses.....

If you are planning on moving your site, and you just aren't comfortable with doing a back up, or even have a clue how to do one, below is a link to a FREE PLUGIN that is absolutely the easiest, no brainer way of doing a database back up.

Even if you aren't moving you blog, you should do a back up at least weekly if you are making new posts, adding or deleting information, etc.

Anyway, get this plugin to save you time and frustration if ever you lost your blog.

MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME.

Just a note here to people that read this - I know I am breaking my own rule about NO DIALOGUE - but YOU MIGHT FIND SOME TIPS HERE IN MY POST. That is what I am hoping for.

This is MY OWN PERSONAL INFO - AS A HOME BUSINESS OWNER FOR CLOSE TO 8 YEARS. Still trying to formulate a new plan --- it's time to make another growth spurt. Kind of let you share my thoughts on how I see it for myself.

it's kind of a stream of consciousness style or brainstorm session. Get all the ideas out on the table and put it together with the *concepts and other logic*. Highly recommend brainstorming.

*logic: pros and cons, who-what-where-when-why or why-not.
* concepts: internet marketing strategies and techniques, SEO, affiliate programs/products/services

I have of course been so blessed to have a client like Stone Evans and Plug-In Profit Site for close to 7 YEARS. This is my main source of income. My business is virtual services of course.

The point is I believe strongly in the concept of 'multiple streams of income'.

a lot of little commissions from lots of different things, and any other income you can generate combined is all that... it's a real good idea.

i just tried to set up a new amazon store & site and my job would be to write reviews and research the various product industries to promote my electronic products.

I know all I have to do is add the INTERNET MARKETING FACET -

DO THE MARKETING - THAT IS WHERE THE MONEY IS. I am always telling people 'you have to decide whether you have more time than money, or more money than time', - if you are ever asking if the ad co-ops or TCD is a good deal (YES!) if you have more money than time.

... but for me i just need much more time than I seem to have - and like everybody, 'struggling to make ends meet'. So to answer my own question 'it's between a rock and hard place' - neither time nor money. LOL.

It's been slow - summer and economy woes it was a double blow this year.

Starting to pick up now before the holidays! Those that sell product need to start getting ready for the heavy online shopping time.

Well Bravo for our governor who decided not to defy the constitution with his sales tax argument with Amazon. So my stores are back in business. In time for the holidays -

How to really make money with your PIPS blog

First pips is a great converting program, you just need to drive traffic to your blog.

here is the best way

1. start with finding good low competitive keywords, for example insert the term "work from home" on Google keyword tool and see some of the results, go with low competitive keywords that have more than 100 searches per month.

2. Then write a blog post using the keyword as the title and write a post about that keyword.

3. build some backlinks to your blog post, using the same keyword as the anchor text.

This is a free site to scan any "website" for malware and other nasty scripts:

I use everyday primarily for:

1) Scanning other people's websites "before" I visit them

and

2) Scanning my own sites and my client's sites daily.

There are other sites like this, but I have found this to be the best; and it scans Java which other sites and desktop software do not.

Also, it performs a scan of the directory and shows a list of all the files in the directory.

Even shows if a WordPress version is outdated.
