What's up with Empowerism?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

When I try to log into my Empowerism account, I get a "Site is inactive" statement. Why would all of a sudden my site be inactive? Granted I haven't logged in for months, but does that matter? Is there a policy I'm not aware of?

Does this mean I lose all of my referrals and the commissions associated with them? If so, that doesn't make me very happy. I would be appreciative of anyone who can explain what's going on here.

Thanks,

Alan

Alan, your best bet is to get it straight from the horse's mouth. You don't need to log in to use their helpdesk.

I have never heard of anything with inactive from not using it - I probably don't log in more than once per quarter and never had an issue in 4 years.

Thanks, Pat.

I just thought I would ask here first to see if anyone would know. I'll send them a support ticket right away to see what's going on.

What really bothers me is when I click on my affiliate page, it redirects to another member's. That means I'm not making any sales, and who knows how long this has been going on where that other person could be getting sales that should be mine.

I should probably mention that I'm a free member. Don't know if that helps any. Maybe they have a different policy for free members that I'm not aware of?

Yes - only 3 months a free member can still make fast start bonuses - but not monthly referral matrix commissions-

Not sure exactly when the ID would become invalid - if after 3 months or what...

When the ID is not valid then it will rotate to other members as a way of not losing the business even though you are not participating anymore.

You could also put some friend's/sponsor ID in your profile for the sales page and then manually change the IDs on your site if you have a custom design...

Hi Pat,

Thanks for the explanation. So what I gathered is that I can no longer earn commissions or even use the site or my ID. And, there's no way to become "active" again.

I guess I would have to open a new, paid account if I wanted to get going with them again?

Hi Alan,

You can remain a free member for 90 days. After that period is over you have to renew in order to keep the subscription active. Note that after you've renewed you're allowed to drop to the free member status for another 90 days.

Looks like you've exceeded th 90 day period and this will cause your Empowerism ID to become inactive hence when you go to your empowerism affiliate site another member's id is shown.

Maybe they can get your old ID back though - I'm checking this for you but please do submit a ticket to the support team.

Regards

Johan

Hi Johan,

Thanks for explaining that also, and thanks for looking into it for me. I have submitted a support ticket and am waiting to hear back from them.

Hi Alan,

Your ID will be activated. Please login to your member center and renew by the end of the month if not it will be deleted again during month-end processing.

Note that your subscription was cancelled on March 31, 2009 after 5 months in the free status.

Regards,

Johan

Thanks a million, Johan!

I'll try to keep up on this from now on so this doesn't happen again.

You're welcome! Check the email address you have on file with Empowerism because they do send notification messages but you might have an email address on your profile you're not using any more.

If you need any further help please don't hesitate to contact Support.

Regards,

Johan
