Warrior Forum Upgrade
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hey guys,

By now you're probably aware that the Warrior Forum is now again a paid forum, with a standard free membership. If not, head on over to the Announcement forum and read this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...id-status.html.

What's your opinion on this? Do you think it will be good for the forum? Will you upgrade to a paid member?

IMO, this is a great move by Allen. And, for a one-time payment of just $37, an absolute no-brainer. Heck, you even get access to the War Room, something I've been wanting to check out.

Let me know your thoughts.

Alan

Note: From Moderator:

Please note: This forum is STILL FREE. It is only if you want to do things other than post (see my post below) that you will need to pay for the War Room/Upgrade.

Shouldn't be. Access is included once you upgrade, and you get a "War Room Member" status under your name.

I haven't tried to access it yet, so I'll do that now and see if I can get in. I'll let you know how I make out.

Please note:

This forum is STILL FREE. It is only if you want to do the following that you will need to pay for the War Room/Upgrade.

* Post Warrior Special Offers

* Get Instant Access To The War Room

* Be Able To Create Their Own Warrior Forum Blog

* Be Able To Create Their Own Warrior Forum Social Group

* Will Have No Restrictions On Private Messages And Will Be Able to Store Up To 400 Messages

I think it is a great idea to upgrade the forum because that will get rid of the opportunists who post junk and spam - sometimes just to get enough post count to make money from the Warrior Special Offers forum.

This is a way to keep this the top marketing forum in the world. Just sweeping away the trash.

Thanks for adding that note, Pat.

Of course, that's clearly spelled out in the announcement thread that I linked to, so I would assume that everybody would be able to read it. But, you never know.

Never hurts to say things twice.

Many newbies do not even realize you have the link to the thread there - or that clicking those words will take them somewhere else.

I am just always mindful of starting a riot by making a statement that may not be understood. Or worse having them not come here because they do not want to pay.

Many speak English as a second language here and that also means we need to be clear and explicit when making an announcement.

(it was not even clear to me you mentioned 'standard free membership' until I read your post the second time: My excuse speed reading).

It is good to have a paid section because you can keep all the spam out. But when it comes to having a paid section you better produce results and have good content, and I can say you can find a hell of a lot of info outside of here that some think it is only found here...

Hi Matt,

Appreciate the input. I'm just curious, as others might be, as to what might be some other forums or communities that you recommend other than this forum. I know there are many paid-only and invite-only forums out there that have killer value, but what are your experiences?

Thanks,

Alan

Haven't considered upgrading here yet, maybe one day.

There are many forums available that can help newbies learn the Internet Marketing business and the best are free. The Warrior Forum is free for anyone and has long stood out as the best IM forum available. I've spent what seems like a small fortune on coaching programs, mentoring forums and other things that did not offer anything more than what can be found here for free.

I would encourage new marketers to go into the main forum and use the search feature above. They will find answers on almost every problem they may have. It's also a great place to ask questions as some of the top Internet Marketers in the world have been known to reply.

Re: Warrior Forum Upgrade

Hi, Alan:

I agree with Steve that just about anything, or its equivalent, can be found somewhere free. The benefit of the Warrior Forum and specifically the War Room is that they each in their own way offer concentrated info conveniently located so you don't have to hunt around the Internet.

Having said that, there is now SO MUCH info and resources here that you CAN spend a lot of time trying to track down what you are looking for, not knowing whether or not you will find it. I poked my nose into the War Room and in my opinion, that is exactly the case.

I paid the $37 and upgraded yesterday ... and here is why: I have been posting to my Warrior Blog for quite a number of months now ... then yesterday discovered I was locked out of posting to it unless I coughed up the $37, which I did.

When you consider that the $37 supposedly covers you for 20 years, then it seems like a good deal. Just not sure I appreciate being forced into paying, but hey, it's not my forum, is it?

By the way, note to l23bc - I paid via PayPal, received the payment confirmation email immediately, and was give immediate access tot he War Room. No delays.

Re: Warrior Forum Upgrade

Some of you really cannot probably yet conceive the power of the Warrior Forum.

There are people here (several) who make SIX FIGURE INCOMES from the WSO forum alone.

Yes that's right.

Now would you pay $37 to make $100k? I think SO!

One of the main reasons for this upgrade is because of the low-lifes that have taken over the WSO with scams and crappy products lately.

I guess Allen is betting they won't come up with $37 plus the $20 to run a WSO.

I am not sure how far they would go to scam and spam...

p.s. i know there are other forums on the planet.

Re: Warrior Forum Upgrade

Thankyou for clarifying that I was a little confused yesterday when I read the main thread about the switch to paid I thought it was no longer open to those who had not paid.
I have been a member about a year now never put up a WSO and at present am not planning to, do not I have a blog either. I don't believe I have the experience or know anything worth sharing with others just yet. But am getting there slowly.
I have simply been learning soaking up the atmosphere and hugely benefiting from the knowledge, experience of the many wonderful warriors on the forum, for that reason alone I will be upgrading my membership. In addition I would like to see the much talked about War room never seen it, so I'm looking forward to that.

Cheers
Keren

Have a great day

Two things.

First, when you upgrade to paid member status, you may need to log out and back in before you can access the War Room.

Second, there are two links that say War Room on the main page. The one up on the top is where you join. It never gets you into the War Room. You need to scroll down in the forum list and find the link to the War Room forum. (Hint: it's the one with buttons under it.)

Both of these things confused me when I first signed up. I still occasionally click on the top War Room link and find myself surprised that it doesn't actually go to the War Room.

I joined the War Room when it first came out and found myself in there more than any other section, even here for a very long time and the value and gifts that I found in there was unmatched. Just my opinion!

Glad to see that Allen is making more of this forum paid to try and move some of the spammers out. Great move in my opinion.

Re: Warrior Forum Upgrade
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I appreciate everyone's input.

I upgraded because I need to have more than 10 messages in my inbox, and I plan to run a WSO at some point. I've also been wanting to make good use of the blog, which can now only be done as an upgraded member.

My reasons for upgrading don't reflect my overall opinion of the forum. I think the forum is great hands down, and there's a lot of value in the War Room from what I've seen just browsing briefly. However, if I could have had all the features available without upgrading, I never would have. I wasn't ever planning on becoming a War Room member, so it's just a bonus for me; one I'll happily take.

I agree that there are other valuable forums out there and that we need to be open-minded and consider other sources of information. However, a lot of free forums aren't as high quality as the WF. Some are, but I know some that aren't and spammers run wild. It's a real shame, and I'm glad Allen is trying to nip it in the bud before it gets too bad and the WF turns into another DP Forum.

I've paid my way into the PPG and get a lot of value from it, so it's worth it to me. Upgrading here is worth it to me. I post in other various forums and get a lot of value from them. If I don't see value, I'm not going to spend much time there.

I plan to be here forever, so upgrading just makes sense to me. Plus as I said, I want to make use of the features that free members don't have access to now.

If you want to find a lot of great information, head to the main forum sections. Reading, learning, and asking questions does not cost a single penny. If having the extra features is of no interest, then by all means, don't upgrade. Save your money and put it towards your business in a more useful way.

HI Charles - as I have said above in red - you will still be ab le to post and use the PIPS forum or any other free forum in the Warrior Forum AS A FREE MEMBER.

Nothing will change.

If you want to upgrade for the War Room and WSO:

War Room has lots of free software, reports, ebooks and conversations by very successful internet marketers who can give you some good advice or answer questions.

WSO means Warrior Special Offers - you can go and see this forum as a guest or even buy something there at a reduced price for Warriors.

However, if you want to SELL something in the WSO then you need to upgrade - and pay the individual fee for each sale you want to offer.

Don't feel obligated or pressured to upgrade - however you are really missing out if you don't at least visit the other forums and read a lot of valuable information (free).

Hi Charles,
I took a look at your website via your signature. Nice to see a fellow accountant around here. Although I'm a UK chartered accountant I specialise in helping businesses grow and saving tax for individuals and businesses. I have been involved in internet marketing for a number of years now. I started through PIPs which is a great program.

You can stay a free member. That is no problem. There is however, a huge value in the War room. When the War room was started I was one of the first people to bring it to the attention of Pipsters ( many of whom don't seem to stray too much into the main forum)

I recommend making some money from Pips and then reinvesting some of that profit into the war room membership. Many people say its the best $37 they've ever invested in their business. Don't spend what you can't afford but do reinvest profit to accumulate.
All the best and good luck,
Paul

Hi Mark,

When posting, make it meaningful and put some thought into what you're going to write. You don't want to be considered spamming. Ask questions and help others.

That's all there is to it.

Take Care,
