Here's where the idea for this post comes from...

I built my business online primarily by testing and testing and testing hundreds of different emails that I'd write and send to my list and to the lists of many different ezine owners. Over time, I'd find some that worked and made me money. Wash, rinse, repeat over and over again and I've managed to build up a significant residual income online.

My challenge to you is to do what I did... Test and experiment by writing different promo emails for PIPS and the core PIPS affiliate programs and send them to your list.

What I did to get my first signups was to have an interesting domain name and make use of it. When I first signed up to PIPS, I was recommended to get a personal domain name or personal internet estate. So, instead of choosing some random address, I put a lot of effort into my domain name and thus, came up with it. I'm still marketing it and even though I understand that I may have been very lucky to get my domain name, I just want to say that what worked in my case is that I made my URL easy for someone to remember.

In my e-mails that I sent out, I gave examples of where to go, what to do, how to do things and stuff. But I always leave a nugget or two out so that they will come to my website and take a look.

For example:
Subject: How to make money online?
Body: *contents blah blah blah* ... Why not visit my website (URL link)? Whatever I've shared with you in this short e-mail - there's lots more to discover! - is all readily available there!

I always gave a logical call to action in my emails.

I learnt how to do that by using this link which taught me how to write succesful emails (I signed up because it was free): Email Promos Exposed
