What Could They Be Thinking?
 

Sometimes I crack up a lot while processing new orders because of the domain names people use.

I realize that they don't know SEO yet and so some don't pick the best names.

I am changing this just slightly so as not to embarass the new member, but WHAT CAN THIS GUY BE THINKING?

As I said I changed it slightly so the person won't be embarassed. Basically I changed the body part and shortened it, but yes, just replace the body part and that is close.

Did you at least laugh a little?

Nothing naughty. I just don't want to make it so obvious that the new member will realize I am talking about him/her!

As quite a few do, they will end up changing domain names soon I betcha!

I guess you had to be there but almost every domain has profit or home biz or money in some way in the domain and you are going down the list

That is funny. But since the program is 100% customizable I guess you could revamp a site to sell almost anything. Of course that would require a major overhaul.

It may BE their idea of good SEO... LOL! If they happen to find there aren't enough gallbladder relief sites. Of course, revelancy is always important. And that IS something people don't seem to get right away.

Hello, all:

It does seem funny to want to use a name like that, and it makes for an amusing topic thread. But I remember when I signed up for PIPS and knew nothing about Internet Marketing, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing or anything.

All I knew was that the Plug-In Profit Site was going to give me my own website "easily" customizable - but I didn't really understand how that would work. I suppose someone with or without Internet experience might have the idea that they can use the domain name to create a site based on the niche they want to target.

Knowing what I now know about how challenging it is to make changes to my PIPS site (StarrBizz.com), I would never give it a name that would require massive changes ... unless I knew that I knew what to do to make it new. But very few newbies do.

I'm sure some of our resident SEO experts look at the changes we DO try to make and they probably think up some pretty good BodyPart.com names to call pikers like me! ;)

But GT - we all have our strengths and weaknesses!
Move forward with what you know well and possibly offer this as a service to others or in return for their specialized talents!
Otherwize you can pay for things you need or get down to some serious learning!
I am surprised to hear that you think you're a piker - I think you are doing exceptionally well - especially with the latest feather in your cap - I say..........high 5 buddy!
