It depends what you mean 'replicate'? Please explain. Also please remove the affiliate link from your signature. /pips.html - is an affiliate site (corporate sales page) they are not allowed in the Warrior Forum. Thanks. |

Hi there, It depends what you mean a duplicate. If you are an affiliate of some program you have a duplicate site like all other affiliates have and it is OK, because this is what the website owner wants, he wants as many people to show his website, he makes money and you make money, this is what affiliate marketing means. However, if you find a website that you like and copy paste it and call it your own this is stealing and this is not OK. In this case the person how duplicates the site is hurting the website owner. Also the search engines don't like duplicate content and they will ignore it or even throw it to the sandbox, it is like throwing it to the trash and never taking it out again. I hope it helps Tanny |

Well, i don't see it as a tough question. In the world of affiliate marketing your affiliate website is replicated from a parent site. As for the Plug-In Profit Site that new affiliates get it is also replicated from a parent site. The only difference is your new replicated PIPs site has your affiliate links in it. Replicated sites are both good and bad. For a new person starting out with Internet marketing they are great. They are great because you have a fully functional website that is indeed ready to start taking orders. With PIPs you have the website, bonus page, splash page, thank you page etc. that are all ready to do the work for you once you get them in front of the right people. Replicated sites are terrific when you are new but they are not so good for the long run. A key to making good money from home is getting free traffic from the search engines. To do that you have to use a marketing strategy that will get your website link and info on the front page of the search engines for your chosen keywords. Google is the King when it comes to search engines and Google does not look kindly on replicated affiliate sites. When you are new use your site as it is to it's full advantage. Work it by promoting it and getting backlinks to it. but don't stop there. You want to start making your site uniquely yours as soon as you can. Once you know how, it's not hard to learn, it's kind of easy to do. Simply rewrite the articles and other content on your front page or add your own fresh articles. Put the ads in order how you want them and maybe remove some of the banners. The goal is to make your site different than all other PIPs site. The color, background, layout etc is not what is important at this stage. Changing the content to reflect your personality is what's important. |
