Please critique my site & squeeze page

Hi Guys,

I would be grateful if you would critique my site...I have made a few changes based on some of the previous comments made.

WWW Home Business,

I have also just done a "very basic" page for traffic swarm....don't know if it will work..we'll see. But please give your honest opinions.

freesplash.html

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Pat,

I appreciate your feedback.

Would you like me to post this in the new thread you just set up? or is it okay for now?

Sorry, I seem to be having a senior moment or two.

Cheers,
Graham

Thanks Allen,

You could have the free ebooks if you want them lol

I promise I won't charge you.

No this is fine - there is no advertisement in the title, Graham - that is really the issue - however the new Review thread I thought would be good so that newbies could see the changes people are doing and ask questions about 'how'd you do that'.

senior moment? are there any other kind? that is like 'bad hair day' - every day!

Graham,

Just a quick comment about your squeeze page, it said I have 30 seconds to decide, but me being the skeptic I am, I waited for about 5 min and nothing happened. Is this just to get people to act, or is something actually supposed to happen?

Patrician 9th August 2008 01:45 PM

Don't know the answer to Chopper's question, (if you meant it or not) but for sure, if you make a statement there needs to be an element of truth - even if fudged*. (remember people have to trust you and they won't trust you if they feel you are not honest)

*Example of fudge - last 50 copies (limited quantity emotional trigger). Usual strike out on 40, 30, 20, etc.

After 50, you can come back and say -'due to an overwhelming response, we are extending this and have had 50 more copies made available'

Example of fudge - last chance emotional trigger (time)-

The last chance date arrives: 'due to so many heart broken people that wrote saying they missed the deadline, we have extended this offer for another XX days.;)

I was only playing with it initially lol...the 30 seconds is the time you need to view a page on Traffic Swarm before clicking away thats all.

Maybe I should take it off? ....what do you reckon

Thanks by the way for the feedback.

Hi Graham,

I checked your site and blog and i can say it was a great work. Just one tiny winny thing on your blog. Try to open any of the links your picture on the upper right hand corner is not showing maybe you need to make a little changes on that otherwise it looks great and informative.

Cheers,

Hi Graham,

I love your splash page, and your website looks great. I think the Adsense ad just above the Dotcomology Ebook needs to be centered. But the site is very nice.

Looks great Graham. Might have to figure out how to do a splash page for myself, it's really good.
