The Importance of the Username
 

Hi All,

This is an embarrassing post, but I think it is important for, especially the true blue newbies.

When I first started my internet marketing journey and got my website www ebizdame com (not using the dots so it is not tranlated into a name link) I was enamored with my name and started to use it as my username on various forums, etc.

Last night I googled ebizdame, mu username, and holly smokes, there I was asking all the silly or not so silly questions all over the place

Ebizdame username, being identical to my website name could cause me problems to be taken seriously. Not a very good thought.

So for the newbies whose names are closely linked to your sites check your names on google and see what you'll find

I changed my name to ejullya

I wouldn't worry too much about it Dita. People may also feel more comfortable knowing you are an honest human with a personality! Be yourself.

There was a whole movement here in the Warrior Forum to change usernames to your real name - it became quite an issue with either identifying your real name in your signature or username otherwise you would be seen as not serious.

This should not be a factor

Unless you are going to do deals for many Zeros

It will not come up.
