Does anyone have a solution to .PART files?

I had my computer completely gutted and all files removed, yet I still receive p .PART files and connot load any software at all

Do you have your hard drive partitioned? I never heard of a p.PART files - and that is just a wild guess.

The second wild guess would be .PART for partial as if the file is corrupted and only partially there?

Some REAL tech will probably laugh me off the earth with these answers but I honestly never heard of this.

When you say you had your computer gutted - who did it? Could you ask them?

I am afraid you really need a techy.
