problem in keyword research

hello out there.i wanted to promote an affl. product.i did some keyword research on some phrases and got d ff results:
number of searches from wordtracker=57
no of searches from google key word too=4400
no of google web pages=10
no of adwords=5
cpc=$2.86
my questions are;
(1)can i go on to write articles on that phrase?
(2)what no of searches should one consider for wordtracker?
thanks.
(3)is there a quicker free method?

Hello Dear,
I have the same dilema right now looking, trying to look for some low key words to optimize my site and start working ranking it in a proper manner, but it is not being easy, at all. Once i get across something clear i can share . i will inmediately post for it to help others. This the greatest community online that i know, keep insisting.
