What Is the Best Marketing Method Out there
 

I have been promoting my PIP site for over nine months now. The issue is, i seem to be doing the methods am applying well such as SEO, article marketing, blogging, forums, social book marking and blog commenting.

But my sales are nothing to write home about. What is the best marketing method out there?

It really is blogging and article marketing using SEO principles - both free - both permanent -- but both require a lot of work.

The key is consistency - just keep building those back links - even if all you have to say in your blog is a paragraph. Get your links in there.

#1 Consider this is a slow time of year for all sales across the internet - holidays -

#2 Consider the several million websites you are competing with - you have to stay aggressive in building those backlinks all the time so that you will be on the top pages when people search. holidays too!

#3 You may also want to consider 'ramping up' your subscribers by sending them a special broadcast to give them Dotcomology or some other free report or ebook.

Don't get discouraged - just keep being determined to succeed and you will.

(I know it is not easy)

Build keyword anchored backlinks... lots of them!

Quality Content (so people naturally link to it)

I have been a member of WarriorForum since 04-19-2009, this is my first post I, usually just come to the Forum and read the post. In 2010 I want to be more active in my marketing and try real hard to learn how to make money online. I sure didn't in 2009.

Hello,

In as much as posting is not compulsory, you delayed in starting one. i hope you were not battling with inferiority complex.

Making money online is not easy as said but highly achievable.
your decision to be active is a second step in trying to make money online. the first step is being focused.

Therefore, i have this question to ask you, what method or means do you want to make money from.

Many fail to make money online because they do not really know what they want or how to make money online. therefore you must select out of various method of making money. the methods are:
survey taken.
freelancing
paid to read mail
high yielding investment
affiliate marketing

As a matter of my many years of working online the best form of making money online is through affiliate marketing. in fact, it is an act of building a multi- million Dollar business when done well.

It is a business that you get paid commission when you help manufacturers of either tangible or intangible goods market their product online. it is highly profitable because you don't have to spend a dime in trying to market it and the manufacturer will always aid you until you succeed in making money

there are many more to this type of business called affiliate marketing.

Focus and be determined, then this year will be your year of making money online.

Note: Do not spend money in buying every material that comes your way about making money online because most of them are talking of the same thing.

I am new to this forum, but I do have some experience in this area - in my opinion and my experience - all of the above mentioned methods are good methods to market a site - however, it is important that you really have your heart in your work. If you are passionate about your site and whatever your site is promoting, that will come across in all your marketing efforts and you won't have to think too about your wheels spinning and not getting any results from your work. When you post an article, or blog or interact with people on social networks, or even create ads or forum posts or blog comments, it will come across that you are genuine and that will stand out from the millions of people that are posting PLR crap and junk links everywhere they can.

So in short, my suggestion to you is to look at your site, and figure out if you "feel" it ... if not, sell it and start over again with something you are really interested in.

... but then on the other hand, I know people how have a million sites that they don't really care about, and still make a ton of money, so what do I know ...

With all due respect - most of the methods you mention other than freelancing and affiliate marketing, I would definitely not recommend to anyone.

high yield investments - HYIPS are almost always illegal Ponzi schemes and they are very dangerous unless you know what you are doing - and even then I wouldn't gamble with more than you can afford to lose.

... and you can lose it even if the program appears to be working as promised - this is (1) often a set up as in 'con game' - building your CONfidence so that you will promote and participate - until the other shoe falls and you lose your money;

(2) these are often shut down by the government with or without complaints from participants. When this happens you can lose whatever money you are 'playing' with when it is confiscated in the investigation;

(3) worse still you as an 'affiliate' can be held responsible for the money lost by people that you brought in. This is a law and as yet I haven't seen affiliate prosecuted, but it is always possible once something is actually made into law.

It's TOO high risk. Don't 'build your house in the sand'.:eek:

survey taken - very few actually pay any substantial income. When you are starting out $5 to $10 is better than nothing. I thought well just do several a day and I will have a way to finance my affiliate progams.

However when you stop and think about it you are working for a penny an hour between all the time it takes to register for the survey companies and the time to do the survey.

I did some for years because they were fun, even for free - but then I knew I had to use my time in a more productive way.

As well when I was signing up for many of them I began to get tons of spam and in a way that it couldn't be stopped as it was always from 'partners' with different email addresses than the one you can unsubscribe from. Had to shut down the email address to stop it.

I was also caught up in what were really nothing more than sales pitches where you ended up buying things in order to participate -

Not the worst, but in my opinion not the best way I can think of to make money.

what is the best marketing method. UNKNOWN! what is the easiest traffic method. (CPC). Pay Per Click is the easiest way to drive some traffic for new-age site.

the most effective methods for free is article marketing; original articles written with your business in site are most convincing.
