Hi everyone, I am in a deliema, because I went and purchased some plr articles for distribution to article directories and none of them accept any form of plr articles, even if you edit them. Especially Submit Your Article.I don't know what to do with them now, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Dianne

Change the title first off - Change it radically if you need to. You say you are editing them - are you doing this radically? Radically I would call adding sentences, adding paragraphs, changing synonyms, if possible changing the order of the paragraphs and sentences if it still makes sense. Article directories, along with Google want to see Valuable Content. The same article that 2000 people are using is not valuable. I used to use PLR just for a backbone and then build an entire article around it - just kind of use it for an idea to get started. However it became more work than it is worth. It is really not hard to write your own articles - they don't have to be Pullitzer prize - just write about internet marketing, working at home, home business, affiliate programs, (your specific keywords), etc. Then you can use the PLR for your blogs (still editing them substantially but not radically). |

Like Pat mentioned you need to change basically the entire article to get it published with most of the top directories. I do use them every now and then but only after I have totally reworked the article. You can also post them to your blog with only a few revisions mainly the title, the opening paragraph and changing the keywords to fit your site. John |

I agree with Pat and John. The articles need to be substantially changed in order to be seen as unique. This benefits you greatly in the end, even if it creates more work for you than you wanted. At the very least it helps with coming up with ideas to write about.

Hello, Learn to rewrite everything about the PLR article. In fact, all you need to do with PLR is to borrow ideas from it and come up with us in your words. |

PLR articles are fine for blogs but even then you have to move the paragraphs around and alter the heading etc and eventually when you look at it you realise that you have altered it so much you may as well have written an original based around the same points which then becomes a much more valuable article for directory submission. There are some that think you can just submit PLR articles to blogs as written but is not so, they still have to be altered somewhat otherwise apart from backlink value they are very unlikely to be indexed. You can use PLR articles as-is in your auto responder. Create a little mini-course out of them. Get people to sign up and they get your articles via email. Then, no one has to approve them. Another thing you can do is put them all together and create a report or an ebook to give away or sell. For this, add a little introduction, add your own ending, and include your web site URL or any other link you like, such as links to an affiliate product for example that is in your niche. You can sell the report/ebook on ebay, on Craigslist, on US Free Ads or anywhere else you can think of. Just don't try to sell it here on the Forum because it's is frowned on - someone is sure to spot a product created with PLR. And finally, you can use them on your own site. Create a little article directory and direct people there. Put them on free blogs that you create to drive traffic to your offer, or PIP site. Sylvia PS: You might want to do some editing to make them a bit unique for your own site if you are interested in using them to attract Google's attention and build your page rank. |

Personally I like to completely rewrite a PLR article by hand. That way I am putting my own writing style into that article and it is making that article unique to both me and the search engines. Then I spin it. The reason why I do this is because it can be fun. If it is a subject I do not know then it helps me to learn more in formation for future use. Remember the film short curcuit and Jonny 5 'Need more input' well treat plr articles as your input and write them out again in your own words and style and you will have no problems being accepted by article directories. Hope that helps ![]() |

You have it all already, with time you would learn how to write your own article from your experience with re-writing and editing.

This is great advice from everyone. Plus, I agree with Sylviad, that PLR products work best supporting your main site or to help create content for your list. Use them as a base, then re-write them adding your own keywords and unique writing 'voice.' I always write original articles for the main directory sites, such as Ezine and Web 2.0 sites, like Hub Pages & Squidoo. These sites want unique quality content - which is a good thing. Ultimately, you will benefit because these sites rank well on Google. Good luck ![]() |

* Radically change the title. * Rewrite the first paragraph. * Rewrite the final sentence. * Add some extra info of your own. * Cut out some of the content. * Change the order of lists and also change the number of items listed. * Turn active sentences into passive ones and vice versa. * Turn singulars into plurals and vice versa. * Replace individual words with synonyms. * Replace phrasal verbs with equivalent single-word verbs and vice versa. * Mash up several articles into a single pithier article. Two other important points: 1. Buy GOOD QUALITY PLR articles. 2. Buy LIMITED CIRCULATION PLR articles. If you go for one of those "1,000 PLR articles for $3" offers you will get one thousand pieces of badly written crapola that is devoid of solid content and that have probably been published several hundred times already by lazy Internet marketers who don't know the first thing about the intelligent use of PLR... Other uses for good quality PLR articles: * Blog posts. (Edit first. Also, cut them into bite sized chunks if they have substantial content.) * Website articles. (Edit first) * Newsletter articles. * Turn them into an audio/video series. * Turn them into ebooks. * Turn them into e courses. Hope that helps! David H | |

Hey everybody, Speaking from an article directory editor's point of view (mind you I am not speaking for ANY article directory here) - We sit at our desks and read hundreds of articles every day. The task can become boring and the trigger finger finger can become VERY itchy. My suggestion, on top of rewriting the article in the manners described above, is to try and change the tone of the article itself. Put some kind of personality into the article that wasn't there before. If an editor likes what they read, even if they know they've read the ideas before, you have a much better chance of getting your PLR article accepted. We don't decline an article for the simple fact that it was rewritten from PLR, we decline an article if it sounds and reads just like the other 20 of them we read today and bores us to tears! If it is compelling and would make a reader come back for more - it's gonna get accepted. But the only way to do that is to add flair and personality to the article. I hope this makes sense - had a root canal prep a couple of hours ago and the Vicodin is just now kickin' in. LOL ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Allen |

Sure they do. I submitted a dozen yesterday and have gotten a few hundred "your article is approved" emails as a result. I've also been getting google alerts all day as google has been indexing them and finding my backlinks. As others have said, for the best results you have to do a pretty heavy re-write. Particularly if you're wanting to use them for traffic. My focus is using them for backlinks so generally I do a light edit to make sure it reads well and is long enough and then submit away. I'd rather get a couple hundred backlinks from a medium quality article in 5 minutes than 5 backlinks from a high quality article in an hour. But that's just me. |

Because the OP is a PlugInProfitSite member. Even if not, since non-PIPS members are welcome in our forum, why don't you think it belongs here Allen? Is it maybe you that are wondering what you are doing here? Take some more Vicodin. LOL Shall we now have a chorus of 'Who is on first? Anyway?' |

Threads asking how to do Article Marketing come up quite often here - so I have a standard reply - I hope this helps: Two brilliant threads to read about article marketing are these: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...marketing.html http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...eza-first.html Read them both - all the way through - and take notes. For further information I recommend the following directory - It is education in article marketing - a guide book and monthly newsletters - with a directory thrown in! Article Directory - Article Marketing Community I can also recommend the WSO's from this guy: View Profile: Zeus66 This guy also has some good stuff - some article marketing some on other things View Profile: Steven Wagenheim Hope this helps. |

Hi Landon... I agree with basically rewriting the whole article. And changing the Title. There is a FREE rewrite tool available, go to www.easyarticlerewriter.com. Sign up, it's free. When you sign back in, it takes you to a blank box, copy and paste the PLR Article there, go to the bottom and click on the "Parse Article' button. It will break down the article into sentences, with a blank box below. Rewrite the sentence in your own words. There is a tiny box to the left, make sure there is a check mark in it. After you finish, click the box at the bottom of the page for the rewrite. Be sure to check over the article to make sure it is what you want, then copy and paste the new article into Notepad or Notebook. I have used this little program to rewrite one article. It got published in Ezine Articles, so I know it works. If you are going to use PLR Articles a lot. I would suggest buying Magic Article Rewrite by Alexandr Krulic. It's about $47 for the program, but it will take one article and spin it into 1,000 unique articles, by changing a few words and phrases around. Hope this gives you some ideas. |

Change the title, then rewrite the article by replacing most of the words used in the PLR article. English is very rich with words. But ensure that the key points are there in your article since quality content is very important. Elphas |

I use the article as a seed...the basis for extensive embellishment...I add personal experience...what else I've read/heard....Then I spin the whole thing. I get into over 300 directories and 50 blogs... Have not been rejected yet for duplicate content. Don't use PLRs verbatim...they're just the seed of your article.

Hi Dianne... I don't know why you are using PLRs...whether it's hard for you to write articles or just don't have the time to write. Really makes no difference. I have something you might want to look into. I used Andy Black's manual article re-write a while back. Well...he sent me an email a few days ago about a new program he's just putting out. I'm thinking about this for myself. It's called Article Writer Pro...and the way I understand it. This is how you write unique articles. What you do is, type in what keyword you want to write an article about, it then searches the Internet for articles with that keyword. You pick out what information you want to use, then it writes a whole new unique article for you. It's about $77 I think. I'm thinking about checking it out further. Maybe someone will write a review of it soon. Just my nickels worth. |

If your not good at writing articles yet, which is the best thing to do anyway, then get yourself some software to "spin" the articles for you. Magic Article Rewriter, Mass Article Control, Jetspinner are just a few software based programs for that purpose. There is also a website Spinn.com, that can do it for you for free. Just a note, if your submitting them to Ezinearticle's?? article directory (can't remember the name right now too early in the morning ![]() |

Hi, If I use a PLR article, I read each sentence and totally reword the sentence, maybe by writing the thought in reverse order. When I finish the rewrite I run it through The Plagiarism Checker from the University of Maryland or Copyscape to make sure that none of the rewrite is on the Internet. In other words, it is a completely new article. But is is still better to start from your research. After you write for a while you can write a new article about as fast as you can rewrite a PLR article. PLR articles can be used as your research if they come from a reliable source. The import word is "reliable." M E Thomas |
