Backlinks Tutorial anyone? Help!!

I still can't quite figure out the backlinks thing... bought the Easy Backlinks program but don't know what to do with my Blog?

Help and thanks, Scott VH vanPALOSmarketing.com/blog

EasyBacklinking has more extensive training than any other program I have ever seen. In fact I would say it is TOO MUCH information.

Log in there and you will see a video - Go to 'Content' and you will see several pdf's and other instructions for each month. Unzip them and you have an ocean of information.

Just basics on theory. BACK linking would be posting the link for your website or blog posts on other sites. Thereby you are linking BACK from that site where you post your link to your site or blog posts.

Just to expand on what Patricia said:

I would suggest you copy your link - or signature just as are used here - to notebook as you can then just cut and paste.

Then, go to the sites in your package and either post a comment in the forum and then copy and paste your signature over. It needs to be hyperlinked so when people click on it it goes straight to your page.

If it's a website, sign up as a member, go to member's profile once you have been accepted, and, cut and paste your signature there.

You can do this on any forum or membership website. What you have in your package though are pre-identified high ranking pages. This will help bring your own page up higher in the Alexa ranks.

Here are just a few methods of gaining links.

  • Viral Content
  • Posting articles to directories
  • Social Networks
  • Forums/Blogs
  • Link acquisition
  • Web Directories
  • Local business directories (highly recommended)
  • Yahoo answers
  • Free blogs
Try to think outside the box when building links and do the things that the majority on this forum isn't doing ;)

Re: Backlinks Tutorial anyone? Help!!

Hi vanhoogy, I also encountered this problem at first but actually backlink is pretty easy to do and it's really simple.

I used my website as example:

Raw Ingredients:
My website: www.erica-chan.com
My Keyword that I want people to know: Money Making Online
(You need to decide on your keyword first, use google keyword tool to help you, search for relevant keywords with good number of search but not so competitive)

1) I go to whatever website stated in easybacklink, do whenever it says (eg. create account, login, etc)
2) Type in "Money Making Online", highlight the text and insert my website link.
3) I will see the "Money Making Online" been highlighted or there is a link embedded which direct to my website.

And tada, I see Money Making Online

* Sometimes, the website is a forum, hence there is BBCode you must enter, however, in the package, there is a code setup notepad file indicating that.

I would recommend you start your first backlink at this forum by going to your user cp and edit your signature.. :)

Just do and follow whenever easybacklink's pdf file says, don't abuse it and you will be safe.

Thanks so much for your help: I'm still a bit confused about what to do with this?

Oh I see... That's the signature.. You post 1 post, it will be reflected automatically and actually you are building your backlinks for FREE here.

To create:
1) Scroll up to the Page, left corner, you see User CP
2) At the centre page, you see edit your signature
3) There is a box for you to hyperlink again :)

And haha, you got your signature! :)

By the way, no, you are not a rookie, everyone has to learn and do you know why there is a "L" before the word "LEARN"?

Because, you have to LEARN before you EARN. :)
