Need Help to stop my blog being spammed

Hi everybody;

I need help to configure my wordpress Blog so that it will not be spammed as it is being spammed these days. I have no upgrade problem, it is the newer version; so that is not the problem. Now Fellows warriors Please Help.

Hi kanga,

You need to get AKISMET plug-in

Just goto wp admin page -in the left column find plugins then add new.

Search for akismet then you can install automatically from there

Yep, you need akismet. You should also turn on comment moderation. That means no comments will be posted unless you approve them.

Akismet! There is also thousands of useful plugin in wordpress, WordPress › WordPress Plugins

These is also a wp plugin called
Comment Warning that is good, it tells who ever is
posting a comment what ever you want it to say, you can
customize it. You can make your own info like: If you post really good comments that is relevant I will more likely accept your comments and give you a backlink or something like that...
