Are Many Social Sites Now "NoFollow"?

Hi,

I recently got the impression that many social sites are now "nofollow".
Is this true?

I also heard that traffic from these sites are untargetted and do not convert much.
Is this true?

If both above are true, are these sites very useful again?

Re: Are Many Social Sites Now "NoFollow"?

There are still many social sites with dofollow attributes.

If you are talking about getting a direct backlink, a nofollow site is definitely not feasible.

But if you are looking into the possibility of gaining backlinks from others, submitting to nofollow sites can do the same job as dofollow site.
