Ezine advertising

Hello Guys

Have you had any success using EZINE advertising, sending solo ads?
Once I have tried to send my solo ad to 200 000 "home business ideas" subscribers list and ended up with nothing.

Is it worth to play with EZINE advertising in your opinion?

Best Regards
Dan

I havent spent any money on solo ads yet but was thinking about doing it, but not for PIPS.

I would be real careful spending money to advertise your pips sales page because for whatever reason, the conversion rate is almost non-existent.

Just make sure to budget your advertising for each month and keep trying different methods until you find something that works. If solo ezines don't work for PIPS, try promoting SFI or Success or look into PPC.

Best,
Matt

Hi Matt, I am curious about that statement. Most people come to PIPs through the sales page and Stone claims the sales page is how he built his business. He also claims it is the best way to build our PIPs business.

I do know that building your own capture page is the way to go for building your email marketing list but I'm not sure the sales page is a bad idea for ezine advertising. The email campaign we get with PIPs is loaded with our sales pages. So, other than the PIPs sales page how would you get people to sign up?

Just looking for a little explanation and information. ;)

Hi Dan,

I've tried it a few times before with no success. A better route might be to submit your articles to ezine owners that accept them. This way your article will be viewed by itself by thousands of people. The potential is huge, and Charlie Page from The Directory of Ezines is a big advocate of this type of advertising. It simply works.

I'm not talking from experience, however. I'm actually going to be spending time next week implementing this, so I will keep you posted of my results.

If you want the correct way to format your article to make best use of this method, download my free ebook at my blog here...

Hope that helps,

Hi Stephen,

Sorry let me explain...

I just simply meant to be cautious when spending a lot of money on solo ezine ads to advertise your PIPS page because of the low conversion. By a lot I meant hundreds of dollars.

I have not personally done that nor will I because I know how low the conversion rate is for the people that do find my PIPS sales page. All ezines aren't the same so maybe you an find a list that may get some different conversion rates.

In my honest opinion I would rather let the organic search engine traffic find my PIPS sales page and spend my advertising money on advertising maybe SFI, or any other free program, then pitch the PIPS program to the new sign ups via the autoresponder.

So in a nutshell, I feel it is better to spend money to get names and email addresses, then use your woo to get them to join PIPS rather than spending x amount of dollars putting the PIPS sales page in front of a bunch of people only 1 time.

Thats all. Hope that makes sense.

Matt
