Please Note so there is no confusion. This is NOT a regular "Debit" card. Although you can use it as a debit card, it has the Mastercard or Visa logo. Where debit cards are not allowed, this card will be accepted wherever Visa or Mastercard is allowed. Technically a Visa or Mastercard/Debit Card is not using a credit line as a regular Visa or Mastercard, and is 'debiting' your account - meaning the cash is coming out of your checking or savings account, right from that point, and there is no interest or 'charge' against a credit line as with a regular credit card. There are plain 'ATM Debit Cards' and these are not allowed by companies that accept credit cards; they are only used to debit your bank account at an ATM or POS terminal (point-of-sale). |

It is not on the list for those acceptable for Host4profit in any case. I know that when I had a site where I took direct payments that I had to sign up for each card and pay a fee in most cases to have the ability to accept the card. I didn't realize Diners Club could be used anyplace as a regular card. I had one once but I guess I didn't use it much... |

Kym, From what I know, they accept Credit Card payments and nothing else. It does look like more and more companies are going with PayPal too which is really awesome and makes everything more convinient. Tal |
