Hi lindam,

Welcome to PIPS and the Warrior Forum community. You made a wise decision in joining PIPS and look forward to helping you grow your business. You're not alone as many people are overwhelmed at first when starting.

The key is to just take it slow, learn as much as you can, and then start to apply what you learn. Start going through the 30 Days to Success Guide. Absorb as much information as you can. Don't buy anything unless you can afford it. Money is not required to promote and build your business.

Learn all the free methods of marketing as possible, especially article marketing and social bookmarking. Take every bit of advice you receive from other members.

I know, it seems like a lot, and it is. Like I said just take things slow, and go at your own pace. This is not a sprint but a marathon. Slow and steady is the key here. Building your business will take time and work. If you put forth the work, eventually it will pay off.

Again, welcome. You couldn't be in better company.

Best Regards,

Alan

Good morning and Welcome!

Alan has hit the nail on the head with his advice!
Come here daily when you need a little time out from your training - you are able to ask anything you want and you will be asnwered by the many talented people that call the pips forum home!

Dont be nervous - be EXCITED!
It wont happen overnight but it will happen!

It is much better to take your time and let the info sink in and learn properly rather than skip through things half heartedly!
That way you too will become an expert and excell in what you do!

Good Luck - Kym

Hi Lindam, welcome to PIPS. It is a lot to take in at first, but you'll get it. I started in August and sometimes my head still feels like it's going to explode from all of the information, but that's a good thing. It just means I'm learning a lot. The key is to just take it one step at a time and you will do great.

Good Luck, Tim Stokes.

Hello Lindam,

Welcome to PIPS this forum is a wonderful place to be,you will get a lot of information here. Please do as Adam said and not buy anything suggested in the training unless you have to have. Such as your Autoresponder main thing. There is a lot to learn, but if you have any questions about anything you're considering buying please come to the forum first and ask should you buy it.

You may find that what you need can be got free. The nervousness will soon go away and you'll be fine. I know because when I first started I was a basket case of nerves, but I love the forum now. being here is like talking to a friend. You're going to love it here it's very mind relaxing after reading so much.

I wish you much success with your business,

Martha

Hello Lindam,

Welcome aboard...nice to see you here amongst us all!! I am also a newbie and just getting started. Just learn as much as you can and read all that you can. Join forums and blogs and read and learn. Don't go out and buy everything that is being offered by all the "Guru's"! If you do, you will no doubt go broke. Just buy what you feel is absolutely necessary to get started. Research and investigate what are the easiest ways to make money online. Once you have found the good easy way to start making money online, follow and implement it to the end. Whatever you do, don't jump around from one project or idea to the next one. Stick at whatever you're doing for some time. Even if you think the idea or method isn't quite working out as you've hoped or even if the money you thought you'd be making isn't quite at what you wanted it to be, don't give up yet. Just follow through and continue learning on the method. Try implementing everything that you can learn. Come here on this forum and ask all the questions you want! This forum is filled with great helpful people and are willing to offer suggestions and advice!! Only when you are starting to see money from a single idea or project, should you start on another project or another (income stream). Slowly, but surely you'll get to a level where you want to be. I know it's hard! I am even there myself. I find that there are so many things to learn that it basically takes up all your time. So much so, that at times I reflect back on what I've accomplished and I realize I've spent my time reading and learning and keeping up with all the emails, well...it's just a chore sometimes. Nevertheless, keep up with everything, but at the same time, you don't have to be an expert on everything. Just start an idea, project. Action speaks louder than words! Just take action and slowly start. You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish is a relatively short time! Once again, welcome aboard and have a great time!!

Hi Lindam,

I'm a newbie too. It's all a bit confusing and I felt that overwhelm the same as you. All those programs at once and where to start? The thing that helped me most was that in the training, Stone suggested to set aside the training on the other programs and just concentrate on setting up your PIPS website. You can get back to the other programs when you're ready.

I made the mistake of signing up for everything right away, including the advertising options, and now I'm worried about maintaining the cost of all the memberships while I build my business.

Others here have suggested taking it one step at a time and that is wise advise. Set up your website and then start generating traffic. That's the most important thing.

All best wishes for your success,
DottieB

Welcome Lindam,
I had the same feeling with you when I first started joining the forum. Don't know what and how to ask question. Take your time with 30 days training and do not buy anything until you know what you're doing and be patient.
Sincerely,
KT52

Hi lindam, welcome to PIPS!

It can be a bit overwhelming, but exciting too! My piece of advice after going through the program at your own pace and not emptying your wallet too fast, is to write up a list of daily tasks that you like, and want to do, to move your business forward each and every day. Make these tasks small and manageable for you, and if it's too much, cut it down into smaller pieces that you can handle. Be patient and every little piece is a building block of your business. Okay, that may have been a little more than 1 piece of advice. I'll stop now...Good luck and have fun with it!

Welcome Lindam

A ton of great information above...Speaking from experience...BUDGET is key. If you ain't got the money, don't buy into it. Ask for advice on FREE ways to build your business. We all got a lot of suggestions. The first thing to save up for is to upgrade your GetResponse.

Cheers....Leon
