Survey Scout ... or Maximum Paid Surveys ... or ...
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello, PIPSters:

I have just signed up for the new PIPS program, Maximum Paid Surveys, and will begin promoting it. But I have a question for other members regarding Survey Scout.

I still have a link on my StarrBizz.com web site that promotes Survey Scout (via ClickBank) that was included as part of my PIPS-generated site. To my knowledge, Survey Scout has never attracted any sales for me, but then, I have never promoted it.

* As PIPS members, are we still promoting Survey Scout? Or is this an old program that has had its day?

* As PIPS members, should we replace Survey Scout with Maximum Paid Surveys?

What is your experience and opinion?

They both convert the same but I hear that MPS converts a little better.

Try both and see which one converts well for you.

Thanks, Tal, for your fast response! That's the kind of feedback I'm looking for.

At first, I was going to drop Survey Scout and replace the links, etc., with Maximum Paid Surveys, then I thought, hmm, maybe I better check with other members first before making any unnecessary changes.

Hello:

MPS is new, so I believe you will have to add links, banners, etc., unless you had/have someone else do it for you.

Read this Warrior topic thread on Maximum Paid Surveys for a few more details relating to your question: http://www.warriorforum.com/plug-pro...0-11-08-a.html

Thanks. Then Suzanne's Content Update is the answer for me. I'm still learning the NVU video to add banners or links to my website.

Hi,

I have done well with both as I like to give my visitors options but with MPS the refund rate from purchases is extremely low...

Take care

Thanks, Jeff and globaltalent, for your comments.

Jeff, I appreciate your insight with this. I agree, giving people options is a great idea. So, I'll probably keep both and start promoting them.

Globaltalent, I use Nvu also and after a rocky first few months, it started to make sense and now I am doing much better with it! Patience and persistence pays off.

Be sure to do web site backups before starting any changes. Also, it's good to create a working copy of any page you ar changing so you can make the changes and check them before actually loading to your WEBePanel and replacing the original page.

Over the past week I've been adding new banners and making other changes left and right on my StarrBizz.com site, now that the whole HTML thing is starting to make sense.

Other marketers use other editing software, but now that I know how it works, I am happy with Nvu.

GT

p.s. Jeff and Suzanne are two of my PIPS Power Group mentors, and without their support and guidance this year, I would never have progressed as far as I have. It was Suzanne's help with SEO and HTML that kept me encouraged enough to stay patient and persistent with Nvu and with web site changes in general!

GT, you could do a review of both sites and maybe add a 3rd survey site and rate each one. Then promote your review page with it's links. Reviews with recommendations have become very popular.

Hi, Steve:

Great idea! I just posted to my Web Bizz Blog about Maximum Paid Surveys, but a review of three survey sites as you suggest would be great!

Now, are you talking about posting the reviews as a page on my main site? Or on my blog page?Or is there another site that accepts such reviews?

Hello GT,

I love Survey Scout personally and have made quite a bit from that via Clickbank...I may be wrong, but I don't believe Survey Scout has a referral program like Maximum Paid Surveys, so it is just a product, whereas Maximum Paid is a product and a program.

Good advice to compare programs and get some sales going for you! A blog is a great place to do this. You can write articles, however, be very careful that it doesn't sound like a sales pitch or they won't accept it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Survey Scout also have more options for non-US residents.

Liane, thanks for the encouragement and advice.

Tanny, that's a very good point. Thanks for mentioning it. I will look into it.

You're most welcome GT. Survey Income System also has some other options for non-US residents. I think that comes in handy for us Albertans

Well howdy, Liane:

I've been meaning to mention our common connection - Alberta! I was born and raised in Edmonton, but moved north about 150 km 27 years ago when we started raising our family.

I visit the southern part of our great province only occasionally, but I particularly enjoy the mountain scenery when I can get close enough.

Regarding SurveyScout, I still haven't gone through it with a fine-tooth comb yet, but will look at the comparisons soon. Thanks again for the feedback!
