What Did I Pluck In My Lady's Japanese Garden?

Hi Folks,

It is the height of summer and we are feeling lethargic.

So I'm taking a break from the hurley burley and have set up a nice little competition on my blog...

All you have to do is tell me what it was I plucked from a tree in the garden of a lady whose house I visited the other day whilst going about my perfectly respectable business.

Personally speaking that fruit does not look tempting.

But, I'll bet it's good. Sooo, now you have to tell us what it is.

Don't have a clue (and I worked for many years in the grocery business). I thought I had it from that one bottom angle shot - then I saw the other angle, and nope.

I'm still workg on it, though!

The name is Yuzu. It is a citrus, and is used as a flavoring during the new years celebration. It is also used as an aromatic for bathing. My wife Yuko says it is like a lemon or lime.
