Submitting Articles
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi Pipsters,
First of all thanks to all of you for your great answers to my previous couple of questions. I get great advice here.

I have become disillusioned with Article Marketer (submission service). I have paid for a life membership (probably my first mistake with them) and yet over time the number of actual successful submissions to directories has decreased. I don't believe that my articles have dropped in quality but my articles now appear on only 10-20 directories after I submit them. What is the best way to submit an article to as many directories as possible?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Why can't you submit successfully with article Marketer? Do you mean they reject your articles? Or do you not see the results?

Now, I know you are frustrated and already spent money, but you should try Submit Your Article for $37/month, SYA is a great tool and submit your article to thousands of directories and you can use their article leverage system to rewrite your articles so you have unique content each time.

I see many complaint about Article Marketer in this forum, and myself has some bad experience with their support and approval team.

Just to let everyone know that many Well known Guru still recommend and use them, I don't know why...

I am testing Unique Article Wizard, seems nice but still many to test.

If you are just using article for back links, try Articlemarketingautomation, each of my articles get syndicate to 30 ~ 60 sites...! And the link quality is better because of "in content link".

Hi Dave, I'm with Tanny about Submit Your Article. It's a great service and a huge time saver. It's one payment I don't mind making every month. Tim

I had a problem with Article Marketer not paying me as well, or answering my emails, so I switched to what most people recommend, SubmitYourArticle...It also allows you to reword your articles and submit different versions. It's a very reliable service if you can afford the monthly cost.

Hi Dave,

Here's the problem. Lets say you submit the same article to 50 different directories. The web spiders see this and will not penalize but may only index a few of the directories you submitted too leaving you with a only a few back links.

Now lets say you take that same article and tweak it up a bit. Change the title 5 or so times, the intro another 3 or 4 times, and 10 - 15 sentences randomly throughout your article. What you will end up with is the same article but can be rearranged or spun into what the search engines will see as several different articles thus resulting in more indexed articles and more back links to your website.

SYA, as mentioned above, makes this process fairly simple and I've got some good results as using them as my main form of promotion just starting out in this biz. Check the sig below for stats.

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks for your replies,

Hi Tanny. In answer to your question, Article Marketer accept my articles and they say they have submitted them each to over a thousand directories. However, when I check their "Exposure Report" each article only shows up on 10-20 sites. I think that Matt Helphrey has highlighted the problem. It is these 10-20 sites that the spiders are picking up and the rest are ignored. Is that how you see the situation?

Hi Dave,

I recently did a comparison of Article Marketer, Submit your Article and Article Post robot:

What's the best way to submit your articles.

Cheers,
Suzanne

Hi, Everyone

My article was accepted by Ezinearticles.com for publication. Is there anything I should do with this publication to increase traffic to my wordpress blog. They wouldn't accept my PIPS link in the resource box. What can I do to get my PIPS link accepted for publication in the article or resource box ? Thank you in advance for you assistance.

To your success and happiness,

Hi Judy,

Write and submit...write and submit...write and submit...then repeat the process. Once it is approved there is nothing you can do except write another one.

Theres nothing you can do to get them accept any affiliate link. All that you can do is provide a link back to a page on your own website i.e. blog post or main /index page. Read up on the rules for submission so you don't waste any of your efforts.

Best,
Matt

Hi dave,
i use article post robot, as recommended by suzanne, i find it quite inexpensive and very easy to use, plus you can edit your articles so they arnt all the same. The only problem with it is that you have to sign up with every article site you want to post to...

Cheers

Re: Submitting Articles

Hi Dave,

what do you want to achieve with articles?

Lot of views/traffic or a lot of backlinks?

do you write articles around long tails keywords?

you may publish 10 articles and receive massive traffic

and you can publish 100 and get very poor results if your articles are not build around keywords

I own 25 niches articles directories and discovered that a lot of people talk about theory

I have published hundredths of PLR on one articles directory and they are all indexed, they even receive good traffic

my business partner own 12 articles directories and he only publish PLR without changing a word

he don't get as much traffic as some rewritten but he still receive good traffic. Some of his articles directories ith some 50PLRs receive 100visits a day

for the search engines the same article on different articles directories are all indexed

look at ezinearticles most of the articles are duplicate of articles published in tons of others places, check the traffic they receive

there are different approach, but the main goal is to get as much traffic as possible from each of your articles

I recommend to submit to the top 10 or top 20 articles directories

look in the so section Peter created a great software to submit articles and he focus on the 20 best, highly recommended from my own tests, articlebadass

in the wso section there are some excellent products explaining how to write an articles that will bring thousands of visitors

thats the way to go, instead of submitting to 200 articles directories, leverage your time to create more article to submit to the top 10 or top 20

that's how I get my best results

some articles i submit only to my owm articles directories drive some 100 visitors a week, not so bad for rewritten articles an I don't need to have them approved by any expert. I only need google to approve them

All the best

Personally I do my submissions manually. I have everything prepared on notepad files so it is just a matter of copy and pasting. In my opinion you are better off submitting your article to only a few places, maybe even 1 or 2. I experimented with article submissions for a long time and I feel that submitting articles to "thousands" of directories is mostly a waste of time. Stick with Ezine Articles as your first submission point, then after that maybe to a few others. If you do submit the same article to more than one site each should have its own unique resource box with different links if possible.

Thanks for all your comments.
Just a question on what Judy Jones said. Do EzineArticles reject PIPS links in the resource box?

Here is a msg i got back from ezinearticles about pips links which were based on my own domain , its not the sale page, just one i was using with ezine( http://www.onlinemoneymakin.com/starting_online.html ) not the affiliate link.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for the email.

The decision has been made to no longer accept articles or links in
articles to promote Plug-in-Profit sites. The first link in your
article has an advertisement for a PIP site, and can not be allowed.

Please edit the article to resolve this issue, and the article may
then be resubmitted for review.

Thank you,
Jody
