I am finding it hard to keep up, can we stick with one set of programs for at least 6 months ?

The programs with have now look the goods and i will start to build my downlines in them but unlike yourself i don't generate hundreds of leads per month so my downline building is a slow process, I feel just as am starting to build a solid downline ( Success Uni, Lawn Chair, Host4Profit ) you boot them out and bring in a new program.

Can you tell me what you for see in the near future ?

Are these 6 programs hanging around ?

And before others jump in and say i can promote any program i like, the reason i joined pips was so it helped me get 5 sign ups in different programs per person aka multiple income streams...

I can't find anywhere on the sales page where it actually says how much CCPro costs, which is very annoying and automatically puts up a red flag for me! Unless I just missed it somehow.

After doing some researching about it on Google and reading several different reviews, it looks to me like it costs well over $2000 to join. Is that true? If so, then NO THANKS!!!

I also found this on another forum...

The $49 fee is a smoke screen for what you are not told about the real cost of getting involved in Carbon Copy Pro. The start up cost for the program is $2,000. Then as Derrick Harper, founder of the Wealth Funnel System, points out: "They're promoting and really pushing the M2 level of Wealth Masters International" that's a $8,995 buy in cost and they also recommend you have a $2,000 to $5,000 marketing budget. You mean you're trying to get people to sign up for the program with an initial investment of $11k to $14K in start up capital? And then there is the ongoing monthly costs with the program which are significant.

If any of this is true, and I assume it is at least to some extent, then I think you have made a big mistake by including it in the PIPS system!

You know - I am not the best with changes although I am getting better and do believe 'there is nothing constant except change'.

As I articulated to the first of what I am sure will be a barrage of inquiries and criticism:

I just can't understand why people don't understand:

#1 - all programs except hosting are optional - you do not need to join any program you don't want to join - from day 1 on the initial application, to any day there is a new change.

#2 - if you do not want to participate in a new program, even though you won't make a commission on it, it could be the very thing that attracts someone to PIPS. So you may benefit from the other programs that they join from your sales page.

#3 - it is actually a much used strategy by 'guru's to cross-sell - back-sell - funnel - whatever you want to call it. The customer signs up for ABC and then you offer them XYZ -

#4 - Most of the programs we have now are relatively low maintenance/monthly costs. If this new program is expensive we may attract some high rollers who will benefit all of us by the exposure they will generate to PIPS.


With that said, I DO UNDERSTAND the hassle of changing your site if you feel you need to. However, in that people have always been free to add whatever they want to their own site - even programs never related to PIPS - I don't see a problem with keeping old or discontinued programs from the core (sales page) program on your website if you want to keep promoting them.

I DO UNDERSTAND that the sales page is the 'front line' though and how this can affect those discontinued programs.

'When the world gives you lemons, make lemonade' - this should create more of an incentive to promote your site just as heavily as your PIPS sales page - not to mention the affiliate program sales pages...

Learning to see 'the glass half full, not half empty' - make sure your glass is half full of nice cool lemonade! (see changes as another opportunity to make MORE money)

I definitely see your points Pat. And in all the years I have been promoting PIPS I don't recall ever complaining about a change. Most of the time I like the changes.

However, this time I do not think it is good for the program. Almost everyone who joins PIPS has very little money and are looking for a way to make money. They don't have $2000+ to spend plus other fees in addition to the costs of the other programs. We're talking some serious cash when you add it all up.

Not to mention the fact that most of them don't have the marketing skills or rankings or traffic or anything else yet to actually get enough people under them in the programs to recoup their investment. That doesn't come for many months down the road in most cases.

Yes, I know that none of the programs are required, but who wants to promote a page with 6 income streams on it when they are only getting any benefit out of one or two of them? Not many. Although it may not be required to join them all I would venture to guess that most people want to be able to join them all for maximum benefit. Many probably even feel obligated to do so. And with this new addition that is not an option for the vast majority of people.

I think Stone is a great guy and an amazing business man. But he has been doing this long enough to know this can't be a good addition to the program.

If it stays on there long I would be very surprised. I foresee another change in the not so distant future and the change is going to be removing CCPro.

I might be wrong and this could be the best addition PIPS has ever had. I hope that is the case because I want people to make a lot of money. I'd be more than happy to be wrong! But I have been an internet marketer for 7 years and have been with PIPS for most of that time so I do know a little about what I am saying here and I don't see this one panning out.

Anyway, that is just my 2cents. Take it for what it's worth.

If it does cost well over $2000, I personally do not recommend to promote it because HIGH ticket items don't sell well online.

Joining Carbon Copy Pro is not a requirement to join the Plug-In Profit Site. It is an optional income stream that offers you and your prospects increased earning opportunity.

I definitely will recommend you join Carbon Copy Pro, just like I did a few days ago.
The reason I have decided to join is very simple, I was honest with myself.

I have spend thousand of dollars on various IM products and never commit myself
seriously because I did not want to spend too much money! wich I end up doing any
way!

Carbon Copy PRO is one of the most professional system I have ever seen!period.
It is worth every dollar I am spending on it and it gives me the opportunity to make
the maximum return on my investment.

Please go back and read Stone thread about why he added Carbon Copy PRO to the
PIPS system, it makes a whole lot of sense to give people the ability to make more
money for the same effort! Stone is a guy who makes a lot of money for thinking
outside of the box and he is allowing other people to ride along with him.
That give him a lot of credibility in my book.

I sincerely hope you could take some of my excitement and consider PIPS and Carbon
Copy Pro seriously. Stay focus, invest in those 2 programs and give them enough time

If you don't want to join Carbon Copy Pro.....you can just join the Affiliate program. It is FREE to join, at this time.

Just go to the bottom of the page and look for "Affiliate" and click the link.

I started the process of joining.....but it was just to expensive for me. It looks like a really great product though. So I joined the Affiliate program to promote it. It has a pretty good pay out plan.

Very good thread, I have been with Carbon Copy Pro since 2007. Their system, business model and training are the real deal. It's not like these other get rich quick schemes either.
It is for the serious entrepreneur who wants to make Internet Marketing their full time profession.

chooch, your username with URL: oneyearplan.net/..... at least is active and seems to work, But be sure you actually get credit for sales.

Yes Hans I am discussing this with Stone now. When we set up the sites they include the oneyearplan.net and this is different from the address for the free affiliates.

I am hoping we will be able to differentiate between the two -

The links actually redirect to the same sales page whether with oneyearplan.net or qsuccess.com

However the username/affiliate ID is not interchangeable for either link so I need the ability to know which one to use for which ID given on the application.

EDIT: THEY ARE INTERCHANGEABLE!

I am testing the links as they are received from applicants.

What goes on the PIPS application then would be 'the3rdparty'.

Yes! We have just tested it and the IDs are interchangeable so all the people who feel they can't afford it can still participate free if they want the business opportunity only!

The sales page now has a link to join as a paid member and another to join as a free member.

Hans, there is a banner way at the bottom of the website if you were set up in the last few weeks (since 1/20/2010) -

If you were set up before that then you would either need to get the latest version of the template from me (ONLY if you have no custom design - peel ads, site maps, colors, etc) - because the new template would overwrite that and it will be wasted.

If you do have custom design then you will need to add the banner...

My name is Janis Reid and I am still very new with pluginprofit and I signed up for Carbon Copy Pro but then I cancelled. $49.95 per month is a little high when you can't get anything out of it. My understanding of how Carbon Copy Pro works, I need to purchase the BIB for another $149.95 and you only get profit from them if you have people under you that purchase the BIB.
Being new at this, my month cost of advertising and cost of keeping each income stream activity is starting to get a little costly.

That's why the free affiliate program is so the balm. All that money people spend can give you great commissions and it doesn't cost you anything to participate.

Of course when people can afford it, it is a great career move to increase your knowledge and benefit from their full program and course.

I have been looking at the CCP myself. I understand the value and acceptance involved. I also know its the replacement for MLM, or so to speak.

But isn't the training and material you get for $1,000's the same you got from Success University? Granted in the grand scheme and over time CCP is less money than SU.

sites for zillions times I got to say that
I just joined today and had my domain
and website up and running.

Contrary to what I read in this post about
CCPRO..I joined plug in profit ONLY when
I found out that CCPRO is one of the income
streams included in PIP.

Am with CCopy for over a year now and found
ccpro to be one of the very rare solid biz ops
on the net today. YES it is Expensive but
it is an opp for the SERIOUS ENTREPRENEURS
who can afford it.

In fact "SERIOUS ENTREPRENEURS ONLY"
is included in my signature file for all warrior
postings....oh I forgot to mention also that
am a member of warrior forum at least 5 years
ago...so you do the math if I spent all those
past 5 years with the warrior forum and now
am in my second year with CCPRO....and
a 24 hours ONLY member of PIP....you will
understand my motive to join PIP....but again
in those short 24 hours membership with PIP
and taking a look to my back office and the
30 days training finally understood why PIP
survived all those years I have been seeing online.

I have gut feeling that the addition of PIP to
my internet profile will contribute a lot to my success.

I joined the free version of CCP. Once things start rolling along, I plan on upgrading. I like their email updates. Very impressed.

Thanks for all the support and opinions. I applied for CCP outside of warrior forum and still have to go check out PIP now and see what it is exactly. I was waffling about CCP due to all it's costs, but maybe now I'll see if I can't raise the money up. Dealing with first month end since upgrading to 2 dedicated servers, vault space, $150/mo basceamp/campfire setup and a few other things, so it will have to wait a little bit longer unless I come up with some good new business this weekend, or something, which seems to be harder here than I was hoping, paying $20 and posting into the WSO didn't seem to do me any good with it buried down the second page immediately upon being posted.

I re-joined PIPS recently; had been thinking about it for a while, but what really pushed me forward was finding that CCP had been added to the system, as well as the change to Hostgator.

I am currently just a free affiliate in CCP, but will be upgrading in the near future,
