I've just finished up the second week of PIPS, which was all about SEO. I quickly discovered that with iWeb, you can't really optimize for SEO using Meta Tags and such. So, not wanting to start over with my precious website, I did some Googling and found that Rage Software has everything you need to optimize your iWeb site for good search rankings! Google Rage Software and you'll find them...their SEO program is free! Take good care, much success to all...now I'm off to read SOGR, relax, and enjoy my day 14 off! |

just dig into the html code and add the SEO stuff your self. Open the .html file with a text editor (not a word processing it adds bad code) and add the Meta stuff into the head section.

They make it super easy...every time you publish with iWeb, it overrides any tags you add, but the program remembers them and adds them back before your site hits your servers. They have a bunch of other SEO stuff too for us Apple cronies, lol ![]() |
