If you are a PIPS member, just refer to the 30 Days to Success training.

You don't blog on your website. You blog on the blogger application, whether blogger.com or wordpress.com

You can link to your blog form your website and you can also host your blog on your domain (publish to the domain)

- in either case you would still post to the blog using the blogger application.

Hi, Landon:

Glad to see you're interested in blogging. Blogging is a great way to learn more about Internet Marketing and build your business at the same time.

Refer to Day 12 in the 30 Days to Success training: Day 12, Launch your own blog.

That's what I did a year ago. And very soon after I "launched" my blog, I used the PIPS services to have it hosted on my own domain. One benefit to that (from what others tell me) is that then you can put whatever you want on your blog without fear of (Blogger.com or Wordpress) shutting it down on you ... which apparently happens!

I have a Blogger blog because that is what Stone recommended at the time. Since then, many other PIPS members have gone with Wordpress and seem to be very impressed with it.

I just checked and I see the training still focuses on Blogger blogs, but it's your choice.

Blogging is great because then you have to come up with topics and things to write about, and that means you have to do a bit of research to become knowledgeable about what you write about! There's no better way to learn than by "teaching" others.

All the best to your blogging efforts!

Hi Landon,

What i like about blogging is that hosting is free. Before joining PIPS i didn't know anything about writing my own blog. But gradually i'm developing some interest and post one blog at least once a week.

Give it a try, you will learn a lot as you go by. There's a lot of wonderful people who will help you on this forum

Cheers,
John Shelembe

Right on, John:

That's how I started, too. I made it a priority to post "something" approximately every week just to get experience and get into the habit.

Now, I try to post every couple of days at least. My mentors and other experienced marketers tell me to aim for daily posting! That's my goal.

But posting weekly, at the least, in the beginning is a great goal and a good habit to start!
