Could be that the video hasn't been uploaded properly to the website for viewing.

Possibly you aren't using the latest JavaScript.

I have come across this on occasion and sometimes I just had to refresh the page for it to work.

I had this happen after FireFox did the latest upgrade (even though I have No-Script disabled or so I thought).

None of the YouTube videos play - and a few other sites, although I can login I can't use the buttons, etc.

Then I noticed a little "S" in the lower right corner of the browser and when I right clicked it a menu dropped down. There I had to "allow YouTube" - now the videos play. The other sites I had to allow (as you are there) and then the buttons and other functions work again.

Hi Patrician

Thanks for that message, Im using internet explorer but i cant find the "s" I have tried running with chrome and it works fine, ie all the video etc displays perfectly, the only thing is ive only ever used internet explorer and its got all my favourites and other settings etc on there.

Have to keep fiddling and see if i can get it displaying again

Thank you

Hi Chunky.

First off the 'S' goes with FireFox browser - not Explorer.

You can export your favorites to either Chrome or Firefox from Explorer.

I have to admit Explorer 8 is better than 6 or 7 but I still don't use it after all the nightmares and problems I used to have with Explorer.

The fact that the video works with one browser is a good sign - and that may be indicative of what may be the fact that it is your browser not the video that is the issue - so basically the public can probably see it fine.

You might also want to try to clear your cache - in all the browsers there is something in each browser tools - with Chrome it is the little wrench and then 'clear browsing history' - in Explorer - Tools - be sure to clear cookies, temp files and history and nothing else.

Also check your PC clock to be sure you have the correct date and time as that will sometimes mess with some applications if it is not correct.
