Hello Members, I started in Internet Marketing in the late 90s and have spent thousands of dollars and not making a dime. I had almost given up and started converting and writing books for the Amazon Kindle and although I am not doing as well as expected I am making a certain amount of money every month.

I got involved with the Plug-In Profit Site program about a week ago and this looks like something that I could do well with. I am currently going through the 30 days to success training course and am not on Day 26.

Hello. My name is Alan and I am from the Metro Atlanta, Ga area. I just got started with PIPS because I needed something to get me started after I have been spinning my wheels for a very long time to get an IM business off the ground. I was not disappointed when I joined. There is a lot of info and a lot of help from Stone and the good folks here at the WF.

The short time I have been with PIPS, I had a major paradigm shift in my thinking. I had to if I was going to make this work. I had to become an ideologue of sorts in order to begin moving forward. I had to feel I was part of something, as they say, "Bigger than myself". I now look at PIPS as a way to help people. I don't think of it as, "I'm doing this to be rich". Although I do wan to make a lot of money.

What I have done is the following and I think it will assist me in being more successful:

• Realize that this is a business and treat it like one
• Get to know each program you are involved in and become passionate about it.....See all programs with the proverbial 30,000 foot view
• USE the products the programs offer - it helps with the passion and you can "sell" it better because you can speak intelligently on it
• Stick to a budget you can afford, but do realize you WILL need to spend some money eventually (many people sadly do not GET this). SFI is the program you have options with. Buy from your own store folks. It's not like Amway where everything is priced 3 time higher than what you could get locally! No offense Amway people.....I actually love Amway!
• Please.......actually work the program. Don't sign up, then complain in forums that PIPS does not work. It won't work for you if all you do is complain that it does not work!
• Most of all, walk, talk, sleep, dream and think about this business. Internalize it; always look at the bigger picture and just focus on a single part of PIPS at one time to avoid getting overwhelmed.

I know all the above is simple, but sometimes I think we (I know I do), need to be reminded of the basics. The above works for me, maybe it will help some of you just starting out like me who feel overwhelmed at times.

I am only a "Newbie" when it comes to Internet marketing as i have only been doing this since the beginning of this year and in this time i have learnt heaps especially what not to do sometimes (as i am sure every one has had there fair share of mistakes and challenges). See the reason i got involved with Internet marketing is because at the end of last year i had a bad accident at my "job" which resulted in having 2 torn disc in my neck, and these disk are pushing on Nerve roots which is giving me lots of pain and globalized weakness in my right arm. so because of this injury i ended up being unemployed and on benefits form the government (which hardly paid the BILLS). And at the beginning of this year my wife & I introduced our first baby boy in to the world. So with all this happening i needed to find another way to generate an income to provide for my family, and i have heard of a few people been very successful with internet marketing and i thought to myself with the right education, direction and some clear defined GOALS in place i could be the next successful Internet Marketer. I've been around IM for more than 3 years, having tried online jobs, MLM, drop-shipping, affiliate marketing, and more. I was doing ok with SEO for my affiliate sites until Panda and Penguin pretty much decimated my rankings - my sites are good, but my backlink strategies were apparently not varied enough.

While i am working on putting these sites back where they belong, i've also started using PIPS to try and create something a little more stable and sustainable.

I was nervous and anxious when I started with PIPS, the information was coming at an credible speed that I could not handle it.

I developed a strategy- taking it slowly on a "snail -like pace" until I digested the info especially on list building and marketing strategy. Today Am more comfortable and managing my PIPS website.
It requires hard work, consistency and determination, then you will not lack trickles of dollars coming from the 5 core programs.

My name is Hugh Hamilton and I am 65 years old and have been trying to make money fom home for close to 15 years. Before I discovered the internet I tried MLM, yes even Amway. Then I tried mail order, then mail order/MLM. Nothing worked for me.:confused:

It took me a while to figure it all out. First of all I kept trying new programs. If one didn't work within a month or so, then I'd try another one. By didn't work I mean I made no money, not even one dollar, or didn't sponsor anyone. Besides every opportunity that came along seemed better rhan the last.

Then I discovered the internet, and internet marketing, traffic exchanges, email marketing, safe lists and so on. Wow, talk about offeres. It was one a month, but now it seems like thers a new one every hour, and again, each looks better than the last. Whats a person to do?

and now I am finally focused. And withing the next few weeks I will earn my first online commissions, and things will only look more positive from there.

Computers has been my #1 interest since the day I got my first C64.

Ever since I discovered the possibilities that internet has to offer, I've had a burning desire to make money online.

Computers and internet provides everything needed to generate a recidual income online, without having to get up and go to work every day.

But...unfortunately it takes more than just a few minutes and clicks like many out there wants you to believe - in order to build a solid and lasting online business.
It requires quite a bit of planning and actual work to prepare and set everything up, and most likely you will have to spend some money in the process as well.

Personally, I have spent countless of hours trying different ways to make money online. Reading hundreds of ebooks and trying different software just to figure out how things work. I probably have $1000s of products on my harddrive that I have collected over the past years.

- Yes, I've managed to generate some paychecks now and then, but one thing I've learned, is that there is no quick way to riches unless you know how to do it.

I've always believed in the "power of many", and I know that if you want to make success online (or offline), you'll have a much better chance by teaming up with someone having the same goal in mind as yourself.

If I were to build a profitable online business all by myself, I know it would be both time consuming and difficult. So that is why I have signed up at the warrior forum.

I have been a member of this forum several times before, but first now I feel confident that I have at least the basic knowledge as well as a wide selection of tools and resources available to contribute in building several streams of income.

Currently, I have a virtual dedicated server, and several domains that I have big plans for.

I'm hoping to meet other internet marketeers here that also are determined to make money online.

I used to do the band thing, played guitar, wrote songs, thought we would be playing Wembley Stadium - but then I discovered a word called 'Reality'...lol That said, it was all in good fun, and luckily I didn't quit my day job.
I have always been creative, and I have developed tonnes of websites, both personal and business websites. I have developed a couple of apps for the iPhone and iPad called Kezza bee Farm Adventures and Kezza bee Peek-a-Boo 3D, a FileMaker database called Teacher's Companion, and am now currently working on my third major project CSS & JavaScript Toolbox, which is a plugin for the WordPress community. I designed this plugin with a view to give website developers a way to add functionality, usability, and UI customisations to their WordPress websites with ease and flexibility. What started as a rather small project in CSJ v0.3 has now turned into a mammoth plugin with a huge list of features.

hi i am mark healy and i live in milton keynes , UK.

I worked as an accountant, book-keeper and tax advisor for many years before i got into internet marketing. I got fed up with the usual administration and 9-5 dull days and wanted more of a challenge , plus when i lost my job i was forced to thread a new path and review what would make me happy, so i turned to the internet to earn money and came across the warrior forum and i was hooked, i had to know it all and get good.

Yes i know what it feels like to have a dream and you will do anything to get it, the burning desire is with me everyday to make millions online. What i would say to everyone is never let go of your dream, go for it and make it happen as that is what your heart is telling you to do.

Hi Michelle --It's not just about spending money - it is about investing your time and effort - Are you using your blog at least once weekly? This will produce free traffic from the search engines.

There is nothing instant or magical about starting a business - it takes time and consistent effort.

Go back through the training again - be sure you are doing everything you can that Stone advises. Be patient and have faith.
