Is this par for the course?

Im coming up on a month with PIPS. No sales yet. No list to speak of. No downline. Ive been concentrating on training and educating myself. Abou a week ago I started making subtle changes to my website...keywords,adding banners, etc. Making more changes today. I got the blog set up this weekend and have posted everyday so far.

A couple days ago, after changing my keywords, my stats went up. Not a lot, but from 2 or 3 hits a day on my site to 12 or 15. I know...its nothing, but I cant explain it.

Is this par for the course? Should i expect to see gradual increases?

I also bout an ad from Mike Glaspie, on Stone's recommedation, and am waiting for it to run today. Also working on backlinks today.

I guess i just want to make sure Im on the right track. Im practicing what im learning in "30 Days" and I am seeing things change, but still the results are minimal.

Is this par for he course?

Jon - first keep in mind that marketing is about building and sustaining momentum. (building back links for one thing). There is nothing that you do is as important as marketing and advertising using SEO principles.

I always like to say no matter what your site looks like nobody will ever see it unless you market and advertise.

The next thing you have to factor in is giving everything you have done time to work - this is not to say ever to sit back and wait because nothing will ever happen.

You are on the right track - just keep blogging and article marketing as often as possible, no matter what else you do.

Last remember there is a lot of competition on the Internet for ranking, etc. Many have years and years where they have been building momentum. So you have to be fairly aggressive in your efforts all the time to push ahead of the pack.

I would say get yourself Market Samurai and do your research on WHY you're ranking better there.

There are TONS of tutorials for the product which I believe is $147. It will undoubtedly help you bring LOTS of info to one place

By posting new content on your blog and making changes on your site, you are certainly going to be attracting the attention of the search engine "bots" who will be crawling all over your site (and happy about the changes and new content). It is possible all the hits are just bots at this stage. That is the worse case scenario, but even still, it is a good result. Keep building and plugging away! Best of luck, Sam.
