Hi Dianne, If you have a blog, and I'm sure at some point you will want one, it will have an rss feed. People can subscribe to your rss feed and receive an update every time you make a new post. They won't have to actually visit your blog to see if you posted or not. Another benefit is submitting your blog rss feed to rss directories. Your posts will show up in the directories, creating more traffic and backlinks to your blog. It's just another way to capitalize on your blog and marketing efforts. Something you will some day want to take advantage of. Alan |

RSS Feeds are great for adding fresh content to your site, or syndicating your blog for others to add to their sites. When you get ready to use RSS for your blog, go to Ping-o-Matic! and enter your blog name and url, then ping all the services. Do this each time you update your blog. Also, before you start submitting your RSS feed to directories, make sure it is a valid, working RSS feed by going to Feed Validator. Your feed link should look something like this: http://www.secrets-success.com/blog/rss.xml ex. yourwebsite.com/rss.xml |
