Hi Guys, Is using shortener url like "google shortener" or "bit.ly" to track how many visitors landing to your website the right thing to do besides putting a tracking code to your website like when you use "Stat Counter" ? Thanks for sharing guys ! ![]() |

Depends what links you want to track. That would be ideal for tracking affiliate links, where you're not going to get any kind of stats. If you want to track traffic coming to your own website pages, installing Google Analytics on your site will give you all the data you'll ever need to know, including where the visitors came from, what keywords got them there if they came from a search engine, and so much more. |
