Hi graham, I think it is looking good.

One question to ask yourself is what you want your readers to do. Do you want them to read all day, buy something, sign up to a program, or sign up for your newsletter? Remember, most visitors are only going to be on your site a few seconds. The action you want them to take needs to be the first thing they see. Right now it looks like you want them to read? Unfortunately only a very few, if any, will do that.

I would put something on top that you want them to take action on.
The website Stone gives us when we first sign up is a great example of putting an action item on top.

Hi Graham, yes I was. Unfortunately it came down from the top and went 3/4's of the way below the fold. I had to scroll down to read it. Then it was difficult to get rid of it so I could read your website. I had to click on it and then go back to see your site. Don't know if it's my computer or if it is a problem. Hopefully someone else will check it also.

Sorry I didn't mention that. I'm at work and a little busy.

Hi Graham,

Your pop up was the same for me, I had to lift it to see then close to read the front page, I have those on my site on exit only to avoid that and am seriously considering removing them as I think they can be irritating.

Your site is looking fine and I tend to agree with Stephen, maybe a call to action to hit visitors by way of you pips banner may grab attention straight away which I have on mine just below a short 'top pick' type of intro.
