Thanks Stone for your visit to the PIPS forum early this new year. May be an indication of good things to come this new year.

Ironically, i started out with Traffic Wave years ago as my email marketing tool and autoresponder and in fact had to leave when i discovered it was more or less compulsory to use GetResponse. I guess it still is, if one wants all the one-year preloaded messages in the PIPS newsletter. But then, Traffic Wave was not a recommended option at all then.

If Brian will recollect, he in fact got across to me by mail probably in line with his company practice, asking why i had to leave and i told him the reason why.

Now, i am so "in love" with GetResponse that i do not yet see enough enticement for a switch but i guess the objective is not for a switch of tools but probably an added business opportunity/income stream. Even if so, quite honestly and i may be wrong, i think GetResponse which also has an affiliate program is more saleable given its pedigree. However, what i think Traffic Wave may have going for it is the way the affiliate program income benefits is packaged i.e. compensation plan, which may make it more attractive to prospects.

If i am missing something new, i'll appreciate an education on this.

At any rate, i'll keep my fingers crossed and observe for now and of course will jump in if and when affiliate commissions start rolling in .

Meanwhile, it would be a boost to PIPS if we can have increased presence of Stone at the PIPS forum, though i know he is perhaps too busy. Stone's presence is actually not needed in the role of a forum moderator or support executive as Patricia is more than capable and is doing a beautiful job in this regard but rather to provide an occasional fresh and experienced perspective to issues. I tell you also that the credibility of PIPS will be considerably enhanced if my humble suggestion is heeded as other equally experienced marketers not being the founder, can not even lend such credibility.

I am happy the other aspect of enhancing the training materials has started receiving a boost and i commend your efforts.

Hello Stone. When I opened my email this morning and saw your message, my first thought was Oh shoot, I am not even a month into the program (on day 20 of the 30 days) and it's changed on me already! Then I stopped my self and said, " Chris, this Stone guy has many years in the biz and if he feels swapping this program is best for everyone, who am I to say Oh shoot! So with that in mind, I will start working on the appropriate changes and keep an open mind. Hopefully I can make the right decision on whether to keep LCM or not. Regards

The good news is that you can load pre-written letters in to the TrafficWave Autoresponder system and make them available to other members to retrieve in to their TrafficWave Autoresponder campaign.

This feature makes it very easy to duplicate messages throughout your team.

Not sure if that's part of Stone's plan but it is an available option.

TRAFFIC WAVE IS A BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

I want to make a statement here because I can see all the wheels turning.

Of late there is a lot of confusion with regard to Step 1 of our application = Affiliate Programs.

Affiliate programs are business opportunities that represent sources of income from products, services and referrals that we can earn money from with our Plug-In Profit Sites and sales pages. That's it.

IT IS MERELY A COINCIDENCE when these programs HAPPEN to sell services which we also use as part of our core program.

We are still going to use the Getresponse autoresponder for PIPS.

Even though GDI HAPPENS to be a Domain Registrar and sells hosting we do NOT accept their hosting or recommend their domains for Plug-In Profit Sites.

We recommend their Affiliate Program/Business Opportunity as a source of income - nothing else.

Another confusion: HostGator HAPPENS to have an excellent FREE AFFILIATE PROGRAM that pays high commissions when you sell a hosting account.

The HostGator Affiliate Program is completely separate from the HOSTING account required for all new PIPS sites in Step 2.

We highly recommend the HostGator Affiliate Program. Being in the Affiliate program or not, you still need a HostGator HOSTING account.

On down the list - SFI is a business opportunity - we recommend the Affiliate Program. They have the proverbial Kitchen Sink of products and services available for you to SELL. There is no reason to buy any of the services unless you happen to want them.

It is a COINCIDENCE if they sell hosting, domains etc. We do not accept anything but their affiliate programs (although of course you are free to add whatever you want to your website.)

Your site will not display until you do that so even though it's fairly simple, you may as well make it easy for yourself.

One of my goals now is to bring the potential costs of PIPS down as much as possible while increasing the income potential as well.

I've been researching and testing a bunch of different programs recently and have come to the conclusion that Traffic Wave is going to be a great asset to the PIPS community.

I see this "$102.91 to get started and $56.85 per month to maintain your memberships" but did not see Getresponse as part of the paid programs. Do you recommend new enrollment's get a paid GR subscription or remain free? Personally I see value in a paid GR account but maybe not at first.

I think the addition of FAQ's is a great idea. For those who are serious and read the entire sales page it might just be the motivation they need.

I absolutely like this part "I recommend starting out with the 100% free programs that are part of this system and use the tools and training they provide to start earning some profits". It is what some of us have been saying for a long time.

I definitely recommend upgrading GetResponse as outlined in the 30 Days to Success guide.

However, upgrading GetResponse is not required and a member can move forward without upgrading their autoresponder and use the free tools and services along with their website, PIPS affiliate link and free version of GetResponse to make sales and profits.

Then when money is being made and they want to start earning faster by making full use of their GetResponse autoresponder, they can upgrade as recommended.

I still think upgrading and focusing on building a list is one of the key ways to start making money more quickly, but again this is not required and is just an option for everyone.

if explanded im dont mind giving it a go myself. i think i have a rough idea but i would like to see what you say then i know and will be 100% confordent doing it myself.

PIPS is not getting rid of GetResponse.

Traffic Wave and GDI are Business Opportunities.

PIPS uses HostGator as the web-hosting and
GetResponse as the autoresponder.

If you want to move any of your follow-ups out of
GetResponse into any other autoresponder you
would need to do in manually yourself.

If you switch Autoresponders:

#1 you need to update your home page web form source code with the new autoresponder code

#2 you need to copy and paste all 216 messages one by one from Getresponse to the new autoresponder (there is no zip file)

#3 you need to edit each one and remove the Getresponse predefined values and encoding and replace with the new codes for the new autoresonder - there are multiple links in each of the 216 messages (you could also hard code your affiliate ID and links).
