I have started my PIPS website back when it was hosted on host4profits, and still using the same old concept of making money. And I can say I have reached a great success only after getting my website ranked very high on google for very competitive keywords such as "home business"and "make money online"

I know it's not easy to reach high ranking, specially when now almost all PIPSers are using blogs and making the same mistakes all of them.

you are using a promotion services that does not work, and some never worked and I personally do not know why Stone recommend such services at all

You need to understand how Google works and the new Updates of Google panda so you can market the way google will love your blog.

I am doing all of those and have been so far contented of the result. An addition to it is to use the long tail as keywords.

Typically, the 1-3 word keywords are called head term while the keywords with more than 3 words (including the head term) are called long tail. The latter is more targeted and can bring results that you may have been expecting. While a head term is "koi fish", a long term could be "original koi fish from Japan".

The good thing is Google has modified some of their algorithms giving importance to long tail keywords. More of those info from Google Insights.

Advantages of long tail keywords
1. More targeted
2. Less competitive
3. Higher conversion rate

I did post about this in the past and the replies I received was I was wrong, I used these promotional services spending a lot of money using someone else's content with no results.

Most everyone new with a PIPS system will make these mistakes like I did, as for why Stone allows this is he's the creator of PIPS system, [makes good money I guess] in fact Stone is my sponsor and never even heard from him how's my biz, busy guy I know.

Anyway I hope you understand what Jossefsal is writing about here and not me.
Even though I never made a dime on the PIPS system I wish success to everyone signing up every day.

1. Create epic content on your blog.
2. Send an email to your list announcing your epic content.

Besides the benefit of creating more interest on the topics you post on, emailing your list announcing your new and useful content helps you to establish yourself as an authority.

Also, don't forget to use offline methods that are proven to generate traffic to your sites for the long run, like having your URL printed below your name in your business card / calling card. Every person you give your card, in parties and other social gatherings, every person you meet is a potential visitor of your site. It's great to see that you are getting good results with Google. I've struggled with this in the past and so have many other IMers I know. It's like the holy grail of Internet Marketing, though, so kudos for doing it and sharing!

Since we can't all be number one on Google, and since there are lots of, IMHO, better places to get our target audience almost immediately without stressing, I'd suggest that we try looking for traffic in traffic exchanges like Traffic Swarm, List Builders, Safelists, forums, web 2.0 sites like Facebook and Twitter and programs like SFI which provide tools for connecting with other Internet Marketers like us, but who may not be aware of the programs we are promoting.

But it all starts with branding so get your face out there giving useful intelligent assistance to people who you'll one day be proud to call your customers.

Social media is a good way to gain traffic to website but it is limited if social networking is small. Get an affordable online traffic software and generate once in a while could make a whole lot different.

Another excellent and sometimes forgotten traffic method is to link to authority pages, good external linking is vital, let google know you do-follow some external links, if you want to take this further do some content curation, that way is easier to create content and get some G love!!
