Can someone explain what i should do here ?

This issue has been sorted out and the apology has been accepted.

Leon don't make me out to be the bad guy in all this. Blatant plagiarism is a major problem online and when you work hard on a website you don't wont things to get ripped off. I couldn't find an email to send to Joseph i just used the support@domain and took a punt, that is why i made things public here.

I am sure that if the person does not respond to your request to remove it (document everything from here on out) then there are things you can do through success university or even the domain registrar and/or hosting account.

There is also a link for claiming plagerism - I can't find it at the moment but will look for it later.

Ok, so this doesnt look great - but there must be an explanation of some sort - I will email him and alert him to this thread.

Im sure he will be right over to clear up any confusion.

Hold up a sec Jason and Im sure Josip will sort this - he is a good guy from what I know.

Yes I agree Josip has always seemed like a nice guy and there is probably a good explanation and he will be happy to remove whatever he's done, maybe not realizing what he was actually doing to you.

I just read your email, read Kym's PM and rushed to this thread!
I apologize for this misunderstanding and I am sorry to cause panic for you.

I hired a designer a week ago to do 2 sites for me as I know absolutely nothing about HTML, he must have copied the file for some reason.
I tried to contact him, but no answer yet.

The simplest explanation I can come up in my head is that he tried to do a "quick fix" by copying your template, or headline font or something to that extent.

Jason, I am very sorry that this happened! I am at a loss for words

If you would except my apology, that would mean a lot to me!
The file has been deleted and I will contact you again as soon as I get in touch with my designer.

Ashamed beyond belief,

the fact is a problem has been bought to your attention and you are fixing it - that is all we can do!

not knowing stuff all html either - I have employed several people to complete work for me also.

you think you are doing the right thing for your business until something like this happens.

I was sure there would be something wrong here and not for a second did I think you would deliberately do something like this intentionally.

you have lost no face in my eyes!

well done for facing and fixing a serious issue quickly and professionally.

Kym is right...hold your head high. There was only 1 perfect person that ever walked this earth.

I had a situation with EzineArticles as I submitted an article I thought was exclusively mine. Guess what?...my account got suspended until I could explain why there was an almost exact duplicate published elsewhere, long before mine. That was very embarrassing.

However, I handled it a little differently (I feel this one should have been too), I PM'd and e-mailed my supplier and waited a fair amount of time (as some people do work and take time off) rather than posting his name in a large forum. We worked it out man to man.

You are an honorable man Josip, especially facing this situation publicly as you have been forced to. It is obvious it was a mistake with all the links still intact (driving sign-ups to the original owner).

I feel better now...

That's good to know that everything is fixed now. Let's all just move on! It was very manly for Josip to fixed whatever he has to fixed even if it was caused by others, Jason can't be blame also because he has worked hard for it. Glad you too guys are ok now.

I am sorry if I offended you with my opinions. In no way did I intend to make you out the bad guy. Actually the first thing that came to mind was, "what a jerk Josip hired".

I should have given you the benefit of the doubt that you exhausted all means possible to contact Josip before making your post.

I have to remember, not everyone knows Josip like many of us and you were just protecting your hard work. (Which is a very good job, by the way. Very professional looking) I can see why the panic to protect it.

Again I am sorry...glad you have resolved it to your satisfaction and wish you all the best.
