1. How will Google treat the sites will just the Blog portion be indexed or the whole site? How does W3 total cache work? I know that as duplicate content it may be hard to get seen until we customize our own on a individual basis if the whole site shows up.

Google normally indexes the entire site once it has been crawled. But, pages with duplicate content such as the standard PIPs built website will not be shown to visitors or appear in search results.

That is why having either your blog and articles linked to your home page or the new format that displays your latest blog post creates an environment that is NOT duplicate -

Your article makes it unique to your site. As well have unique keywords - replacing the generic keyword phrase that we give all sites when they are built.

... one more reason blog and article marketing will sustain internet marketers as they always have...

I should have expanded on what i wrote because it may sound like I have a negative opinion on the PIPs built web site and nothing could be further from the truth. PIPs (Patrician) does a great job of giving members a ready made web site that is ready to build upon and market. It would be impossible for PIPs to give everyone a site with unique content and should not be expected.

What PIPs does is give you a site, a blog, and a platform to build on. It's gives you the tools to build a business and lots of people have done just that and are quite successful.

I suggest the new Blog platform for PIPs sites. All you need to do once it's created is start adding new fresh content. Either write it yourself or go to the classifieds section of the forum and find a writer to do it for you.

Another suggestion would be to write reviews of the PIPs products. Include the creators name, exact product name, your views of the products and some keywords relating to the product. Then post it in your Signature on this forum.

You can have a fresh unique web site with just a little work. PIPs provides the foundation and all you have to do is build on it.
