I'm working a lot right now to reduce the cost structure of the Plug-In Profit Site and increase the earning potential.

In the member's area you will notice many changes to the system.

One of the changes I'm most excited about is that now every new Plug-In Profit Site member is setup with a WordPress blog from Day 1. This makes everyone's sites a lot more functional and flexible and is going to provide a lot of new opportunities for development of the Plug-In Profit Site system.

As you've also seen in recent weeks, I've been tweaking the affiliate programs in the Plug-In Profit Site system to reduce costs and increase income potential

From my point of view, at this point all of the programs are working really well now with the exception of People String. I'm not seeing any significant earnings development from this program and don't see it adding a lot of value to the Plug-In Profit Site system.

I am now considering changing People String to Cash Crate and would like to get your opinion about this possibility. Details about Cash Crate are here: Make Money Online With Paid Surveys | Free Cash at CashCrate!

Some things I like about Cash Crate are that it is absolutely 100% free with no upgrade options and offers an immediate earnings opportunity for newbies even if they have no marketing skills yet. I also think it can add further credibility to the Plug-In Profit Site system because Cash Crate has a successful history paying out over $3,000,000.00 to members since 2006 with a lot of verified proof: Make Money Online With Paid Surveys | Free Cash at CashCrate!

Further, for referring members to Cash Crate which is what the Plug-In Profit Site will be most helpful at doing, you earn 20% of what your referrals earn and 10% of what their referrals earn for life.

A couple of things I don't love about Cash Crate from an administration point of view is that once you create your account, it takes an extra step to click the Referrals section inside your account to know what your ID is so that will take an extra step for people signing up for the Plug-In Profit Site to get their ID. Also, when you click your Cash Crate referral link, your ID disappears from the browser bar and is instead stored on the visitors computer as a cookie. This tracking system works just fine but some of our members might not think their ID is setup correctly since they won't see the link. This is minor and is how Host Gator works too but I like it when members can see the ID in their link - it seems to boost confidence.

Anyway, I'm highly considering making this change and making it quickly because I don't want to build too many more sites with People String in it if we are doing to start using Cash Crate instead.

I've setup a poll here in this thread and would appreciate your response in letting me know what you think. Please respond to the poll directly and provide your comments about the possibility of making this change and what you think about it.

I tried Cash Crate about a year ago. It looks like they have made some changes to the program since then. I was not impressed with them then.

It was hard to make any money because the pay out per offer was so low.

I'll have to look into the program as it stands today.

I guess it's worth a try.

I really believe you should consider one of cash back social sites with an affiliate program. This would not only provide the income stream you are looking for at no initial cost to your subscriber. It also provides an additional chance for the subscriber to see how powerful the social sites can be. You couple a social site with the Warrior Forum and you can open a world of opportunities for your subscribers.

Consider it a great Idea. I have a suggestion about the PIPS site and improvements: some pips users like me have themselves changed the layout and domain name of the original pips-site so any changes made in the original site will have to be included manually. Would it be possible to maintain a list in the members area of all the changes / improvements that have been made /are being made / will be made with easy access to copy any texts / images included,

Hello to all. I am only into pips for maybe 60 days and in that time, LCM was dropped and replaced with Trafficwave. Then very recently, peoplestring was added which appears to be also on the way out for cash crate. I haven't learned peoplestring yet so what the heck, I might as wait and learn cash crate instead! I am taking my lead from all the pros so if you feel it's right, I will abide by it.

It is nice to see that after so many years and your great successes you are still looking for ways to improve PIPS and make it even more accessible to a wider range of people. This will make it easier for PIPS members to get more sign-ups. I commend you.

I joined PIPS about three weeks ago and I am still familiarizing myself with it. I was actually planning to contact you because I discover that for most times the Peoplestring website does not come up. It is with great relieve that I read that that you are thinking of changing it. I say, go ahead with the change!

Another thing you have to change is your sales page. I may have just joined PIPS some three weeks ago but I have known about it for over five years. I come across it regularly while browsing and, if my memory serves me right, it is the same sales page that I have been seeing. My advise is to have about five different sales page saying the same things in different ways. These will then be rotated.

One more change I think you should make is to review the 30 Days to Success guide so that the low cost advertising resources like Traffic swarm is located in the first few days rather than towards the end. In fact, there should be more low cost advertising resources. Honestly, telling me about PIPS Co-op early in the training dampened my spirit somehow.

All in all, I believe that you are doing a marvelous job and no one serious about succeeding will ever regreting joining PIPS. The changes are welcomed.

Just my opinion... I thought what we are promoting here is "online entrepreneurship". Building a business, not just earning earning money for some kind of "work from home jobs". Something like building automated business so we can enjoy other pursuits in life while our online business grows. Does this adoption of Cash Crate serve our original purpose? im thinking after a brief look at "cash crate" that it is a yes from me. peoplestrings is not goo to me or anybody living outside of us & canadian. as im an australian i have no access mail box\cash box, therefore my benifits are poor. like i dont get the 0.50c off a referal an neigher does the person refering me get the money eigther as i can not access the servey in the mail/cash box.... hence why i didnt bother putting my referal detail in when i joined plug-in profits and as to why im starting to remove people strings links/banners from my site....

If Cash Crate give a fair deal for us, outsiders from United States.Then this program would really be great for us.And we can promote this worldwide.I don't prefer People string for some reason,most of their surveys not valid for people outside US or Canada.

PeopleString has not done anything for me. Cash Crate looks more promising. I don't think the objections you mentioned are a big deal. Those simple steps should alert you about the experience and willing character of the person who's signed up.

I just joined PIPS last week and I am very impressed with all that I have seen, and especially to know that you are keeping PIPS fresh and up to date. I support changing to Cash Crate since one can make instant income and residual income through referrals, which is where the income builds in programs like Cash Crate. I have found People String to be some what confusing and the upgrade option less than affordable so I welcome the change.

OK, since the results of this poll are overwhelmingly in favor of making the change from People String to Cash Crate, so it will be.

I'm beginning all the programming for this change right now.

For starters, you can login to your Cash Crate ID# to your Plug-In Profit Site account profile here: http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/account

Your ID# will be found under the "Referrals" tab inside your Cash Crate account in the "Referral URL" box. It is the series of 7 numbers at the end of your referral URL.

Go ahead and add that to your Plug-In Profit Site profile now so as soon as I get your Plug-In Profit Site affiliate link updated, it will already have your correct Cash Crate ID coded into it so you get credit for your referrals.

I will keep you updated on the transition in this post, and by email once everything is complete.

Would definetley that People String agree People String has done nothing for me either.

With regards to your point about Newbies may be nervous about the affiliate code not being shown in the browser bar. They will soon learn the importance of cloaking affiliate links I'm not sure whether that is covered in the 30 days training guide but it would be a good idea if it was then newbies would feel more comfortable in including this programme and able to cloak their other affiliate codes. I must admit I need to cover this subject for myself and will be searching the forum on how to do it. Unless any one can help me how to do it.

The problem with Cash Crate as similar to other programs is that most offers are available mostly to USA, some to Canada and others for English speaking countries.

All other countries have very few and sometimes none offers.

That is Free or almost free offers.

Paid offers are available for everyone.

We have to promote it almost to the qualifying countries.

We did try Cash Crate.

It has been and gone by this time.

The commissions are not high enough so Stone removed it.

(he had 1000 referrals and that amounted to $36.)

He anticipated a new member might work several months to get 10 referrals and what would they have to show for it? $3.60? <almost pointless>

(don't do the math this is just a guesstimate).

It's a moot point so closing this thread.
