Hey Team, Im very interested in getting YOUR thoughts on email generators. Ive recently been introduced to the idea AND although the idea seems great for generating a huge email list very quickly im struggling to see the real benefit of a list that doesnt know you AND im just thinking that sending an email to someone completely out the blue AND especially when they havnt asked for a mail just feels wrong. However my mind isnt completely made up as i am aware that alot of people are actually using email generators and ALSO apparently with great success. I would apreciate your view on this subject and would also like to know if it is even legal? Many Thanks Chunkynuts |

I could be wrong. What I know of email generators is they are a program that thinks up thousands of email addresses that you can send an email to. Not all emaill addresses are active but the odds of getting an active email address are very high. The problem I see is they are generic email addresses the program has generated and none of them have requested info from you. You will be sending an email to thousands of anonymous emails. That will work providing no one sends your email provider a spam complaint. If they do complain, and people like to complain, you take the chance of loosing your email account. Especially if you use Getresponse, Aweber, or one of the many email marketing companies. If it were me, and it won't be me, I would use an email I don't care if I loose or not. Then the question I would ask is "what's the point"? Sending emails to non-targeted recipients is kind of useless. I prefer to create a highly targeted email list. Of course it takes time to build a responsive list and doesn't sound as glorious as creating thousands of emails in a matter of minutes. My suggestion, take the time to learn how to build a responsive list of eager buyers who want to receive information about the items you are marketing. Stephen |

I have several websites that target small niches. Each one has an autoresponder form that offers free information. In the series of emails people get I introduce an ebook that is mine after about the 3rd email. Most of my sales come from the autoresponder series. The AR series first builds trust by offering free information and trust makes it easier to sell my product. Email marketing is and will continue to be one of the top marketing tools available. But it has to be done correctly. First build trust then introduce your products. People buy from people not sales pages. |

I actually ended up in a thread on the WF that literally everyone was using email generators for the creation of email addresses. I did immediately think to myself whats the point? etc BUT because everyone was doing it and because there wasnt even a question of any wrongness (if that is a word) going on, i just thought i would drop in here and get some other thoughts and feelings with regard to the use of this method. I had absolutely NO IDEA that this type of carry on even existed but the fact that its being used by quite a few in the warrior forum just temporarily comfused me as to wether it is a reasonable method although my initial thoughts were right. Is this what would be described as black hat? Im not familiar with all the terms. Thanks Chunkynuts |
