Hello, OAH:

I still don't know exactly how the tags and trackbacks work in this part of the forum. It looks like your post automatically added tags using words from your post.

I tried keying my website and blog page URLs into the Trackbacks spot in some of these posts to see what happens, but I haven't been able to determine what it does.

However, regarding the links in content pages that don't look like URLs but point to web pages ... those I can tell you about.

Some people call those hypertext links and you use HTML in your page code to create them. If you are new to all this, then you will find that HTML is a whole new and completely foreign language to you.

Hey! I just wrote about that and posted it to my Web Bizz Blog today! (Click on my blog link in my signature, below).

Another great source of insight and information to do with HTML and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is PIPS member Suzanne Morrison's newest SEO eBook, 3 Steps to Search Engine Success.

Again, click on the link in my signature for more info on this new eBook. I mention it in today's blog post, too.

I wish you success in your quest for web biz success - I can understand your confusion. I was once where you are now. But Suzanne's SEO guides have definitely illuminated the path for me!

Hello, oah:

As affiliatehenry just said, focus is your best friend right now. Take it slow, as you mentioned, and one day and one step at a time. We've all been there and most of us have realized that because there is so much to learn, there is no need to rush. My recommendation is work on it daily and enjoy the learning experience.

You know what they say: it's the journey, not the destination, that means the most in the long run.
