Urgent - GetResponse Autoresponder Account Fix

Members,

It is come to my attention that if your Plug-In Profit Site ID# is 30342 or AFTER, there was a technical error on your GetResponse autoresponder installation that caused the "From" field in your follow-up emails to come from ME - Stone Evans.

You would notice this if you subscribe at your website directly and read one of the follow-up emails that arrives in your inbox.

If this is true for you, THE FIX IS EASY:

Step 1: Login to your GetResponse account here: Log into GetResponse

Step 2: Locate the section at the top of the page that says: "Your current campaign:"

Step 3: To the right of that section is a GEAR icon. Click on that.

Step 4: You will be directed to the "General Settings" page of your GetResponse account. Locate the "FROM field" section.

Step 5: Make sure YOUR name and email address is listed in the "Email Address" field.

Step 6: Place a check mark next to "Update all campaigns using this value" and "Update all existing messages in selected campaigns"

Step 7: Scroll to the bottom of that page and click: "Save Settings"

That's it! That will ensure that all the follow up emails that get delivered from your website are coming from you.

Note: The CONTENT of the messages was always your affiliate links and domain name. It's just that the name setting was incorrect in your autoresponder account if your Plug-In Profit Site ID# was 30342 or *after*.

As of today, the technical problem has been fixed and all new Plug-In Profit Site members from 2/10/11 will be setup without this error.

Hi Stone,

Thanks. My "FROM" field name is in order, I just notice that your address appears at the bottom of the subscription newsletter. Is that ok?

A postal address is required by law. We use Stone's address because we don't know yours.

Please replace the address with your own.

even though i put in for the fix,it seems nothing has changed? Iused to get 2-3 signups a week and now i have notgotten any for over a month?

The 'Fix' has nothing to do with anything except that the email does not say it is from Stone Evans - If you fixed it, it says it is from YOU.

It wouldn't affect in any way how many people are opting in - that would be your marketing promotions.

I remember Patrician said to me, no one will know me or in other word who want to believe my recommendation if the from newsletter is my name.
Stone Evans name credibility is far superior than Hazuwan right Patrician...
Don't get mad at me ok...
It just that this remind me about what you said before in help desk support....

That is true I said that, but I didn't know it was an error at that time.

I was 'editorializing' on something Stone said when people remark about the Mini-Course on the sales page being sent from him - that they are benefiting from his reputation and name recognition so it is all good -

So when people began to tell me about the 'From Stone Evans' on their other newsletters I assumed that was the reason he had changed the messages.

Turned out I was wrong and it was an error. Sorry!
