GetResponse subscriber tracking
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello.
I am new to PIPS and GetResponse, and I am trying to track the source for all of my subscribers.
I have had some success, but something is puzzling me - I have a GetResponse campaign that was set up when I joined PIPS, and my understanding until recently was that every prospect who requests my free newsletter gets added to this campaign.
This works fine when a subscriber (me when I test it) subscribes via my web site (via "Subscribe to our Home Business Tips Newsletter for FREE today ($147.00 value!"). I see the subscriber in my "active subscribers"list in GetResponse.

However, when the subscriber comes from my PIPS Sales page (via "TIP: Before you dive in and read all the exciting details - Sign up for my Free Home Business Secrets Mini-Course") I do not see them as an active subscriber. The GetResponse support people tell me that this is because subscribers coming via the PIPS Sales pageare subscribing to the Stone Evans "homebizsecrets" campaign and not to my campaign.

So, my question is how do I track subscribers that come via my PIPS Sales page?
Thanks for any advice.

Not to hijack your thread but when I started about 2&1/2 months ago, I was getting 1-2 subscribers a week with getresponse and now nothing for 6 weeks or so...I dont know what the heck is going on?

This is something I have also thought about. Surely it is not fair that anyone subscribing through your sales page should go to Stone's list.

More opinions will be much appreciated.

Taken from Training Day 2

Another thing... Anyone who visits YOUR Plug-In Profit Site affiliate link and subscribes to my free Home Business Secrets Mini-Course will be TAGGED with your affiliate ID's for ALL the Plug-In Profit Site affiliate programs. I'll follow up with them consistently on your behalf to build rapport and make the sale FOR YOU so they sign up up in all the core Plug-In Profit Site programs under YOU. To ensure this is working correctly, be sure that all of your affiliate ID's are correct on this page of your Plug-In Profit Site account.

To your question...

The bottom line is that the PIPS sales page is more effective when I follow-up with prospects personally by email through the mini-course.

This follow-up is done on your behalf to help you make more PIPS sales.

As a PIPS affiliate, you are using my success story, reputation and selling skills to help you make more sales. If you don't want my assistance with helping you make more sales, simply don't promote the PIPS sales page.

Those that do promote the PIPS sales page effectively also build their list through the opt-in form located just after the section of the page that says:

... Take A Sneak Peek At The Power Of This
Automated, Moneymaking System Yourself!

I would argue that the PIPS sales page actually builds your list more effectively than most other opt-in forms you could setup even if that were the only thing on the page.

The people who subscribe to your list at that point on the page are more serious prospects who have taken the time to express a sincere interest.

But the primary purpose of the PIPS sales page is ultimately to enroll your prospects in the core PIPS affiliate programs under you.

After many years of testing which methods work best for accomplishing this goal, the current format is what has worked best.

Those that know that value of the PIPS sales page and promote it effectively are also the top earning affiliates in each of the core PIPS affiliate programs. This is what counts most in my book.

Sincerely,

Stone
