I'm thinking about getting a premium seller membership to multiply.com and/or advertising in their ppc program. I'd love to hear about any success or failure stories with trying to promote via multiply.com, particularly in regards to electronic products. Were you promoting a physical product, e-product, general type of product you were promoting (i.e. computer parts, IM product, etc.), ROI, any information you can give.

If you have had success promoting e-products on a social media platform, what was it? Facebook? myspace?

It seems to me that this may be the way to go in the future (that is, advertising on social media sites, like Multiply or Facebook), as I've been hearing more and more problems with Google forcing out the little guys on their SEO and banning adsense accounts, etc. I would think that you could also target a little better this way as well.

Please post to this only if you have had some success making money online - it doesn't have to be much, just enough to show that you have the basic principals down and just haven't found the right niche and combination of promotional avenues.

I used multiply.com when I wast just starting out in SFI in 2008. I got my first group of down-line business partners in SFI through that website, but I have noticed, when they started to allow online sellers to openly sell their merchandise in multiply.com, my sign-up rate with them started to decline. I don't know exactly what's the reason why, but I guess, maybe because that website is now becoming a hub for online businessmen who already have their own products and websites they no longer need what I am offering which is a website setup (PIPS) and affiliate marketing opportunity. As a PIPS affiliate, all I hope now is, to attract some of the online sellers there who are not making money at all with their own products and free web pages and are wanting to change course.
