Hi all, Just a quick question. At the moment I am using Submit Your Article but with the current exchange rate this is now costing me nearly $70 AUS each month, so I am going to have to cancel my membership. Now obviously I still want maximum exposure for my articles so my question is, which article directories should I submit to (other than Ezine Articles) Kelly |

Hi Kelly, Just google "top PR article directories" and you can come up with the top ones to submit too.... The ones with higher PR means a better backlink for you... Take care Jeff |

I've never used paid article directories to submit my articles, I used free ones like ezinearticles (PR6) which have great PRs and got me quite number of visitors. Thanks jeff for the keywords hint |

You can get a list of Article Directories here, Article Post Robot They give you both the URL and Page Rank. There are a lot of Internet marketers who do not use any type of article submission service. They simply write high quality articles and submit them to the top 6-7 sites. If an article is well written it can be picked up by many publishers giving you a lot of backlinks. Steve |

I provide my A-List of article directories I submit to. There are now over 30 I believe. I do every submission by hand and also use articlemarketer.com as Cyn pointed out. You can view the directories here... http://www.replaceyoursalary.com/article-marketing.html. Hope that helps, Alan |

LOL Alan.. Of coz I don't.. Thats kinda retarded.. If I am on a article marketing spree, I would submit Article A to 5 directories then Article B to another 5.. Until I run out of articles or get sick of it. Haha |

I don't think I could keep track of 3,000 directories. Where did you find them all? Are they all high PR? Alan

Thanks everyone for some really great advice. I have cancelled my SYA account, so it's manual submission from here on in. Ben, 3000 article sites, my mind boggles LOL Thanks Steve and Alan, I will be checking out those links later tonight. And Cyn, I do have the free version of article submitter so I will also be taking a look at that. PS. Ben, the banner you designed for me looks absolutely fantastic. I have put it up on my blog so everyone can have a look at your great work. Thanks so much. |

I have 3 accounts with SubmitYourArticle.com now. $37 a month to get thousands of articles online every month is about the cheapest form of advertising I can find. I use them for more than 1 niche as I need to. Of course I am my own customer so I earn $12.95 a month in commissions which brings my net cost down to $24.05 a month per account. However I know of one guy who went from $200 a month to over $15K a month in income in one year by just using EzineArticles.com. He would write and submit 10 articles a day which took him about 2 hours to do. He only wrote about things he did not have to research. He also created his own products and sold them. As his income grew he started outsourcing his article writing and now spends about $4k a month having articles written for him. He now gets his articles into more than EZA. I only say this to let you know you can make a lot of money online even with 1 directory if you think big and do it right. |

Jeff Schuman hit the nail on the head with a couple of points. First is, save money and be your own customer. I have done it with several products including Clickbank products and some other stuff. The second is growing your business. As you start to make money it is important to reinvest in your business. It could easily, as in what Jeff stated, cost a few thousand a month to make thousands. It doesn't have to at first because you simply do it yourself but as you grow you will need to outsource if you want to get really big. I know Jeff isn't lazy about writing articles like I am. Because of his article writing service, an extreme value for the price, he writes hundreds. But, I am a little lazy so I like using a submission service. If I would spend the time to write 10 articles a day I wouldn't use any service, I would submit them to 4-5 directories by hand. Steve |

Just thought I would mention that buying through your own Clickbank ID would only be possible if you already have 5 unique credit card purchases in your account. This means you would have had to sell 5 products to 5 different people. Only then are you eligible to receive commissions. It would be pointless and look bad to buy through your own link before that. Not sure what you mean by "only then would you be qualified to make commissions"? I made a commission on my very first sale and everyone after that. I've never read where you have to have 5 sales to make money. No matter, I'm not giving any of it back.

25. Can I purchase products through my own hoplink? "The short answer is yes, but ClickBank does not condone affiliates using their accounts for this sole purpose. As stated in our Accounting Policy, "ClickBank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others." That is, affiliates should not be using their own hoplinks to purchase products for themselves and then collect a "rebate" check from ClickBank. Unless an account contains sales from made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard, our system will not generate a check for that account (even if the balance has met or exceeded the payment preference). PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum." Hope that helps. Alan

No what he meant was you need to make sales from 5 different type of credit cards before they can send you your commissions. Hope I got it right for you Alan? |

I'm not sure of the point except it is OK to purchase from yourself as long as it is not the sole purpose of having a Clickbank account. Works for me.
