Popup Domination is not working correctly in IE8 but it works fine in other browsers. I changed the Plugin Profits theme to another theme and Popup Domination Worked fine in IE. So that tells me the problem is with the Plugin Profits theme and Popup Domination. Does anybody know how to fix this? If you want to take a look at the error here is my site moneytech dot org |

The POP UP pops up in Chrome and Firefox browsers. (May be a problem with IE) If you change to another theme how is that a problem with the PIPS theme? What I see now is the PIPS theme with the pop up so I guess you fixed it. |

The popup should have input boxes. If you look in another browser you'll see how it's supposed to look. Like I said I changed the theme and and the popup displays perfectly in IE. So I'm thinking it's something to do with IE and plugin profits theme. Any ideas how to fix this?

I checked a Getresponse form and it worked so that tells me it's Popup Domination and not the Plugin Profits theme. I guess I'll just use the Getresponse Popup.

I guess you removed it - I did see input boxes when it was there earlier. Sorry I didn't actually try to input anything as i didn't realize that was the issue... Personally I think pop-ups are obnoxious - beside the point I know - but they are really irritating - I see they are making a big comeback as I seem to encounter them everywhere again... over the years there have been various people who have created pop-ups for ebooks, and etc and they worked fine with the theme. Maybe it has something to do with Wordpress and there something in Wordpress that will explain how to add one through there. |

I put it back up if you want to take a look at it. If nobody can figure it out I'll just not use Popup Domination.

It worked fine and I was redirected to a fat burning loss page at Please Confirm (Chrome) from Brent Boyle <contact(AT)fatburningsuccess.net> to Patriciatest <pluginprofitsite(AT)gmail.com> date Sun, Mar 20, 2011 at 10:45 PM subject Thank you! I have to say this - what does this have to do with PIPS or anything on your site? Just like I say about lazer focus (targeting) I will say again - this is not good for your search engine optimization - For years I have heard that you need to focus on one or more related topics. "Search engines don't like a flea market approach" (Corey Rudl) if I was you I would get a domain and point it to the page or its own blog - or even add a separate page in Wordpress if you have to leave it with PIPS - If you stress it is part of your 'home business' then it may not be confusing to the search engines. For example Home Business Ideas - Fat Loss Program In my opinion, as it is it really does not belong on your PIPS site at all. |

I was just testing it with a form I had on another site. I haven't yet promoted Pips I'm going to be removing that soon. Were you able to see the input boxes in IE? Because I called a friend to look at the site and they couldn't see the input boxes either.

I figured it out! I replaced the first line in the Plugin Profits header with this: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> The line I replaced was: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> Will this cause problems? Everything seems to be working correctly including the popup. |

I have to agree with Pat, I also find popups most annoying, especially if your reading a page, it is most distracting and if they cant be turned off, I leave. They cheapen the site. This makes me really question if you should be using them at all. There was a time popups were banned and they are not allowed on Adsense sites, just to give you something to think about. Personal opinion only. |

I have two websites both of them have an inline form and a pop-in. The majority of my sign ups come from the pop-in. That's why I spent all day trying to fix Popup Domination I know how effective popups can be, especially professional ones.

A colleague of mine got rid of popup domination because it conflicted with posts that had Youtube videos on them. It seems the popup was on the top layer unless he had a blog post with a youtube video, then the video would show up over the top of the popup. He had the same problem in IE8 and Firefox. He finally gave up and just used his autoresponder plugin. I'm glad I didn't get it as it sounds like a messy plugin. |

Curious where you ended up with this? I am having the same issues. It appears to be related to ie8, I am runnning a theme from WooThemes. I love the plugin and it is incredibly effective but if I cannot fix this I am going to have to shut it off. My site is learntocatchcatfish dot com if anyone has any ideas on how I might correct this it would be greatly appreciated. |

Just a warning... but the download link via Clickbank is leading to a dead page. I waited on their chat for nearly two hours with no response. Nothing on email. Pretty poor, IMO.

I also have this problem. I just bought popupdomination and I am testing it in successhowto.info It works fine in chrome and firefox, but in IE8 it appears in above the logo, without the popup. I am using popupdomination 3.2.6, wordpress 3.2.1, flexibility3 theme. The thing is I have seen popupdomination works on other blogs in IE8.. it is frustrating! see for example: Internet Network Marketing Blog With Rachael Macgregor | Any ideas? |
