Technorati Support a joke!
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Has anyone ever actually gotten a response from Technorati Support? As far as I'm concerned they might as well not even have a link to submit a support question or concern.

I have contacted them two different times about an issue I'm having, and have never, after months, received a response back.

You would think such a highly respected site such as Technorati have decent Support staff on hand.

Technorati is great for getting your blog noticed, but if you have an issue you're SOL.

Do they have a ticket system?

Believe me if it is an email only system, you need to give them the benefit of the doubt. Honest to God the email can be lost in either direction (the request or the response).

I can tell you from first-hand experience that I get attacked and beaten almost everyday by people who say I don't respond and I always do, within 24 hours.

For instance the last one was someone who had sent 6 tickets in 3 days, all of which were responded to timely.

Then I get these nasty remarks about nobody cares, you took my money (we are a free program), I am just a number, who do you think you are to ignore me, blah blah.

So because I am so defensive anyway and at this point ready for war at all times, I have to go and dig up all 6 tickets and document each number and then give the email deliverability statistics and etc.

(our ticket desk sends an email both when they submit the ticket and when I respond) but they don't get it.

They don't know enough to go online to check the status of the ticket if they don't receive the email.)

So anyway, stuff REALLY does happen to over 40% of email.

The Technorati support center is nothing more than a forum format where people post questions and answers to problems.

The Contact Us form submission appears to be email and not a support ticket setup.

I'm not the only one that has never gotten a response to a question or issue.

I'm curious to know who else hasn't, or who HAS gotten a response.

Alan they are notorious for what you experienced, and honestly I don't think Technorati has the importance as they once did anyway.

I have never got a response from them either. So, I mark them off as "who cares".

Find out how this guy went from being over $40,000 in debt to having total financial freedom and how you can to.Click Here: Freedom ~

Yeah I have had the same experience too. They are kinda buggy but never respond to any feedback.

Alan,
I experienced the same problem too when my Technorati fans count disappeared for no reason and 3 messages to them to explain were not answered. Thankfully some of my problems disappeared but I'm sure its not because they read my mails. But I know yours didn't.

Yeah, my issue hasn't fixed itself . Maybe I'll try again and see if it will work this time. After reading some discussions on there I know other people have problems claiming blogs or getting the wrong URL associated to it.
