Editing Website

Hi Guys,

I am not able to make additional edits to my website. I can't do a page peel, change the background, or add widgets to the footers just to name a few things. I have been doing things correctly, but it isn't working on my page . Does anybody know why this is?

Re: Editing Website

Any changes to our custom template would be made through the Wordpress Appearance Editor in the header.php and footer.php files listed on the right sidebar in the Editor.

However, with all due respect: #1 your focus needs to be marketing if you want to make money with your site - so the first priority is completing the training and implementing as many marketing strategies as you can - this takes consistent effort over time.

#2 There will be videos coming soon from PIPSiteHelp.com to show you how to edit your site - if you don't know basic HTML/PHP I would leave it alone for now.

#3 with that said, if you do it anyway and blow up your site, I can restore it if you contact the PIPS Helpdesk (click my signature)

Include

PIPS ID
Domain Name
Host cpanel username and password (HostGator welcome letter)
Wordpress username and password (Day 9 of the training)

Unless you want to add new programs that you see will fit your theme website, there is no reason to change it color or do anything else.

Just like Pat has added, your main focus will be to focus on promoting your website.

There are so many ways to do that.

Think outside the box and/or follow Stone's advice.

I agree with the others that you should work on promoting your site.

You need to continue to build content and back links for your site. You should monitor your search engine results with a program like Rank Tracker so you can determine what works and what does not. If you are consistent over time you will see your site move up the ranks.

Wish you all the success with your home biz!

Optimize your site first. Beauty does not add juice to your site so focus on getting backlinks and good content.

All the best.
