I used to include this in the member's area of the PIPS co-op and thought I would share it here in hopes in might help someone get perspective who is struggling. A while back a Dippin Dots ice cream store opened up in the small town in Indiana where I live. The business opened with a bang and had so much promise yet a little over a year later they had to close and go out of business. They simply could not make enough to be profitable. I looked up what iscosts to start a Dippin Dots ice cream store and it is anywhere from $80,000 to $235,000. I guessing the owners of this store lost hundreds of thousands of dollars with the failed store and you know what else... even if they had succeeded I doubt they would have earned as much as you can through a Plug-In Profit Site. I know that spending even a few hundreds bucks per month is tough for a lot of people. I have been there. I have been bankrupt and lost everything including my house in 2001. Most businesses cost more than $150,000 just to get started and that doesnt even include advertising. Businesses like this go into big debt and then sometimes barely make $75,000 for the owners. But ...the potential of an online affiliate marketing business like Plug-In Profit Site is so much greater than the traditional business model. My point is you have been given a fantastic opportunity and have all the tools you need to make it happen without anywhere close to the financial risk of other businesses you could start. Think of your business like a business, commit to it and make your dreams come true. You can do it but it is doing to take more than a few weeks and even a few months in many cases. Some experience fast success and other take time. It took me 2 years to start making good money but then everything fell into place like a snowball rolling down a hill. I wish I would have had a system like PIPS but I didnt know about it at the time. The thing is I focused on one thing and one thing only and worked every night to 2 in the morning after my day job (sounds familiar story huh) but it is true. That is the kind of commitment it takes sometimes. The biggest enemy of success online is jumping from one thing to the other every 2 months seeking some magic bean that is going to "work." I have never seen anyone succeed who does that. The guys and gals who succeed decided on one thing and went all out until they made it. I wish you much success. |

Hi Dustin- Thanks for the inspiration!! I can relate to a lot of what you talk about here. I've had a traditional brick and mortar business. I know what it is like to spend thousands of dollars for inventory, marketing, insurance etc... Only to see sales start dropping and your customer base going out business and in turn you are out of business with massive debt. PIPS allows everyone to learn and grow there business at there own pace. There is no need to spend thousands up front and most importantly no need to carry inventory. I chose to take it slow and it also took me a couple of years before I started seeing a nice monthly profit. I still work a full time job and use PIPS as a side business but I know that when I decide to I will be able to work full time from home and PIPS is what got me started. John |

Dustin I second your comments. Tenacity or stickability is determinately a requirement to sustain our emotional roller coaster as we work through this business. No doubt there are certain steps once taken - lead directly to success. Just holding on is critical. This is like the tiger's tail - I simply can't and won't let go! Your commentary was very helpful - keep up the good work and best of luck to you. I am very pleased to see you got your legs in two years - it gives me hope after just over 6 months ! Cheers! |

The part about jumping from magic to magic is very true. There is no magic... All the magic is in your head and fingers. Imagine magic in your head, and your arms will be doing it.

Thank you Dustin for your very useful post. I too, has been a victim of the "magic bean" syndrome. I started out online 2 years ago and before I knew it, I was lost in cyberspace - buying into every "magic bean" that come along my way. I only realized that everything I need to know about internet marketing, or affiliate marketing is here in the Warrior Forum. Focus is really the key to achieving great results - not only online - but also in all things that we do in life. It is the persistent, consistent efforts that we do that really pays off. Thanks for your thoughts. To God Be The Glory, lexworldonline |

If you keep your eyes on the prize and take action everyday, you will succeed. It is a matter of bringing traffic to your site and showing others how to make money online with these programs. There is no magic to making money with the PIPS program. You just have to take action and make sure to bring as much targeted traffic to your site as possible. |

Hi Dustin :-) Thank you for this very encouraging story. This certainly helps even more with the butterflies. Everyone has been so nice and helpful here on the forum and very supportive. I feel like I've made the right choice with PIPS and I just am not going to give up, no matter how technology illiterate I am when it comes to some things. I know and believe in everything Stone has encouraged, otherwise he wouldn't be so successful. Thanks so much, this is a great story you shared, very inspiring Jenny |
