I'm sure alot of you more experienced marketers do this, but i have trouble figuring out what to write. Used PLR articles at first and just changed them a little and posted them on my blog just to get content. Now I want all unique content. I choose a long tailed keyword phrase to put in my title and go through all the PLR articles and when I find one that matches what I want to write about I read through it to get ideas and start writing. When I'm through I go to CopyScape to check for uniqueness and if the article is 100% I post it on my blog and then to the article directories. done this 3 times with the first one not 100% unique so I didn't post it. Takes some time but it sure feels good to write an article that's 100% yours.

It's a great idea for those struggling to create unique content. Just think of it this way, we all learned what we know somewhere so really as long as you make it your own you're totally legit. Cheers, James |

I agree that PLR is a great basis for unique content. All you really have to do is read a couple of PLR articles and then write the gist of the content into your own words, and boom...unique articles for your site!

Good day Scott. Just keep up what you've been doing. I was also a struggling writer at first, actually, up to now. Just like you, I've figured out that we have tons of ideas from PLR articles. As long as we use the PLR articles to get the ideas rolling. I also was able to post my first unique article, it was approved by Ezine Articles. The funny thing about this is that as soon as I finished reading the article and started writing, so many new ideas cropped out of my head that I can't seem to stop writing. I only found out that I've written an article with more than 1,300 words - great!!! Using PLR Articles as basis for your own articles is the same as researching for your content. And from what I've learned on the internet, "Content is King." More so for original content. Keep it up brother, you're on the right track. God bless you. lexworldonline |

Regarding Article writing, what do you guys think of using an article spinner. Is it worth spending the money on one? Are those spinned articles actually accepted by the article directories? If yes what is a good spinner to use? If those spinners are great tools, why does anyone bother spending the time and effort on writing an article themselves? Could someone please give some advice on what is the best to do, I admit I am very bad in writing articles. Thank you. Cheers, Martin |

Sounds like you've gotten into a good routine with making your articles unique. I can say from experience that the more you do it the easier it gets. I never even check my own rewrites in Copyscape these days as I just know for sure that, if I've gone through it thoroughly, it's always going to be 100% unique in my own words. As for the question about using spinners above... I use them but not in the completely automated way. As an automated tool, spinning an article by pressing a button to save time will result in garbage, every time. It doesn't make sense and no decent article directory will accept it. It'll also make your site look really bad. Instead I use them to spin my articles manually. I use the thesaurus to find appropriate alternative words, and also spin on whole sentence level. Some may say you don't need software to do this, which is true, but it definitely saves me time to have it. And be warned - spinning manually takes time but personally I would never spin anything automatically, it just doesn't make sense and I wouldn't want to use that for any of my projects. |

Hi, What I try to do is take a PLR article and do the following... 1) Change the title 2) Re-write the entire article at least 60 percent, changing sentences, ideas, re-arranging paragraphs keeping in mind it still has to make sense and be well written. 3) Change the keywords... For example if I have an article where the keywords that are targeted for "home business", I will change them to a long tail keywords such as "home business ideas for moms". You would be surprised at how easy you can do this with a little practice... Take care Jeff Casmer |

PLR articles are a great platform to start writing articles from. Quite often you will find a PLR article or even book that has a lot of good information in it, but is very badly written. I find the badly written ones the best to work with because they force me to have to change them. The researh has been done for me, and it has often been put in a logical order. All I then have to do is rewrite it in my own words. The other way to get ideas is to go to a article directory like Ezine Articles, find some articles in your niche, read a two or three and then write your articles using some of the ideas you have read. I am not suggesting you copy them, but rather they become a springboard for your own ideas so that your article is truly original. |

Thanks Everyone, I have been contimplating using PLR and rewritting them in my own words, but I wasn't sure it would seem ethical and be accepted. After reading all the replies and recieving encouragement I will begin to search for articles and follow your recommendations. Thanks, Norm |

Norm, Great decision. PLR articles are designed for you to take them and make them your own. There is nothing illegal or unethical about using them exactly as you want. I'd be willing to share some of my 300K PLR articles with you if you are having a hard time finding what you are looking for. Just send me a PM here in the Forum with the type of articles you are looking for... Example: Affiliate Marketing Articles, Blogging Articles, RSS Articles, Golf Articles... it all depends on the niche you are trying to get articles for. I'll be glad to send you some (10-25) UNRESTRICTED PLR Articles for that specific niche or sub-niche. At least enough to get you started with your own articles for your website(s)... Ü Allen |

I've tried a couple of different spinners, but I like the one I found here: Free Article Spinner: Article Marketing -- Write Once. Spin it. Publish Many. Backlinks Galore in SEO Heaven. . It's the 'Simply Free Article Spinner'. IT doesn't do the spinning FOR you, but it is a great way to organize your article so that you can do it yourself and have every one of those spun articles make sense to the reader..and look like they really were written by someone who knows the language. It does not provide suggestions; it simply lets you do the job, and then gives you a finished, 'spun' article and source code that you can copy into a .txt file for later use. ...........and no, I neither own, nor am affiliated with, this site. I just like it. Diana |

Totally agree PLR articles are a great base and building block when creating unique content. You are saving time by using the research and effort put forward on a specfic topic and by modifying it and adding valuable extra content this creates an entirley new writing.

I saw a famous Clickbank affiliate marketer's software that creates 100% unique article from PLR articles but unfortunately he's not selling it now, can anyone suggest a great software like this? I tried the free one but the modified content was garbage.
