Hi everyone.

I've had this question for a while and I've finally found the right way to put it in the words I need to so hopefully this doesn't sound confusing to anyone.
On my keywords in which I am preparing to backlink using Pauls package and others....Stone says pick keywords that are searched less than 10,000 times....okay I have done that...AND....they are all keywords that has to do with my website's theme and title.
My question..... Must I go somewhere on google to check the competition searches on these key words before I waste my time using them or plugging them all in? The keywords I've chosen are searched around the ranges of 4,400-9,900 times per month, so should I be checking something further on these specific keywords? Can someone give some tips on this? Thank you very much and if this EXACT question has been asked somewhere and I've overlooked that, sorrY!

Since this original post, I totally understand the keywords now thanks to my sponsor and Pat. Hopefully this didn't confuse too many people.
