My site has disappeared
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi guys,

It's been a while now that my URL is not directing the browser to my personal website. If somebody can explained to me as to what is the cause please. Here we go http://www.homebiz-4all.com/

I reported the matter to the help desk on the 20th of this month, was issued with a ticket number which was later denied of its existence by the system.

Cheers,
John Shelembe

Hi John - Looks like you overwrote your index.html with a template - the site builders create their own index.html

Please send me your hosting account username and password to the helpdesk -

Be careful when you put in the ticket number to check for a response, that you use 0 for number zero and O for letter O.

Please send the ticket today as I will be off on the 25th.

Pat

Hi Pat,

My apologies, i've been submitting my request to a wrong Help desk (WF) instead of PIPs. Only rectified the mistake now.

Thanks,
John Shelembe

Great John I will take care of it right away. It is 1:00am here so I will do you a favor and do it in the morning!

I am bleary-eyed at this hour!

Glad everybody is coming back from the holiday.

God bless.
Pat

Hi John - you are all set.

As I advised in the ticket, if you are going to use those site-builder programs it is a good idea to create another directory on your domain so that the files will not interfere with or overwrite your PIPS index.html (home page).

Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi Veejay

Glad to see your site is back up and running.

I would suggest you use the Website Backup Manager in your WebePanel to make regular back-ups of your site just in case something goes wrong again in the future.

Cheers for now
Cyn
