Need Help with Onlywire 2.0
 

Hi everyone I am trying to understand how to transfer the get the bookmark and share widget on my own domain website blog.I have gone to onlywire and have accounts with all bookmarking sites. I understand about copy and paste but when it comes to my website I just don't want to mess things up especially my blog I worked so hard to set-up.I have copied the code from onlywire 2.0 to wordpad do I need to paste and copy again? I have wordpad to make things easier.Can someone tell me the proper way to get the share and bookmark widgets on my website blog through onlywire 2.0 Thanks Dianne

I am not sure about your blogging platform, it looks like the add-in one for PIPS, but to add the code for Onlywire, you just copy and paste the code for the widget into wherever you want it to appear. Usually into the side menu or somewhere visible.

Hope this gives you an idea.

I had trouble getting the Onlywire widget to format properly in my blog. I tried a few times and it didn't seem to be working properly, so I deleted it and gave up.

I have a Blogger blog hosted on my own domain.

My concern was the same as yours - I didn't want to fiddle with it too much and risk messing up something that was more important.

I placed it in my left side bar. I'm not sure why I did that because I don't use them. :confused:

I like SocialMarker.com because they are spam free. Only wire has been know to be called a spam service. Social Marker takes a little more time but works very well. Some other PIPsters use other services that also work well.

Diane,

Place the code on line 47 right above where it says "Subscribe to our free ...." at the top left hand side of your site. Also center it so that it does not stick to one side. Let me know if you need any help.
